YAGOO and Cover aren't actually incompetent, they are just trying to realize YAGOO's original vision by limiting the aspect that prevents them from idolfagging the most: video games. This entire process is just Cover delaying the Holos from detrimental gaming as long as possible to get them back into Live 3D offcolabs, and to get them in shape for HoloFES2, as they are destined to be idols.
