Okay this is just a big theory but Black Souls 2 got a 3rd DLC. And although we have someone translating it (rare_cats) he said he'd take about a month for that. So all that playerbase started focusing on other games in the meantime, which likely meant they went for MGQ and SEQUEL while they wait, and due to the increase in players there this generated more discussion more players and more posting
