Saw one of those Japanese spiders move into my neighbor's home a couple weeks ago.

I think it's safe to say that he's dead now. I haven't seen him since. I know spiders are carnivores. She probably got hungry and ate the guy like spiders do. They're hunters after all. What's worse is that she's sneaky. Everyday, multiple times a day, I hear yelling and screaming from the house, periods that last 5-20 minutes before it quiets down. It's hard to make out, but it's usually yelling about eggs, fertilizer, and rabies. Usually first thing in the morning, at midday, and right before bedtime. Probably more victims she's taken home and eaten, yet I've watched and watched, and somehow manages to get the victims inside without me ever seeing her or the victims. It's always a male voice too and adult, and it always sounds like my neighbor. But it can't be him. He has to be dead by now. He used to spend so much time outside, and not he's nowhere to be seen.

Thankfully, she hasn't gone after me; I am quite different from my neighbor, and she hasn't shown any interest in me. I must not be her preferred meal. Still, it's unnerving having a ruthless killer next door. I think I'm gonna hire a salamander to keep myself and my home safe. Spiders don't like fire, and that should be a deterrent.
