I never understood why KDF calls them kobolds. They're simply not. While monster girls can deviate in appearance just like humans can, there's simply no resemblance to the kobold species in MGE. They don't have the animalistic legs, and they don't have fur up to their waists and shoulders.

Honestly, they're just generic dog girls. They more resemble domesticated werewolves more than anything else if you're comparing them to any of the canine MGE species.

And to be clear, the way a monster "marks" a man she is in love with has no effect on another monster if said monster herself was already in love with him or fell in love with him afterward. All it really does is discourage indiscriminate rape, kidnapping, etc. and make the man less appealing to unmarried monsters as a general rule (again, with exceptions).

Regarding hierarchy, here's some relevant stuff from MGE volume 1: Monster Society
