>Figuring that a low-level notice like this wouldn't get a lot of attention he goes to busy himself with other things before returning to check the board the next morning
>There are more replies than he thought there'd be.

>Level 87 Orc Barbarian, "JOIN OUR PARTY! BIG RAID GROUP, NEED WIZARD!'
>Level 93 Dark Elf Assassin, "Join party. Will find you." (somehow this reply wasn't even on the board, it just found its way into his belongings)
>Level 82 Troll Herbalist, "Experienced healer and support specialist, very knowledgeable about medicinal and magical plants. I am only available for night activities. Please respond."
>Level 90 Ocelomeh Monk. It looks like she didn't know what strategy to reply with so she left both a knuckle imprint and a lipstick mark.
>Level 88 Devil Witch, "We're actively recruiting wizards just like you for guild activities, pamphlets included".

Getting started as an adventurer is difficult so late in the game.

>Aspiring human adventurer fresh out of magical apprenticeship
>Eager to find a group of likeminded do-gooders and thrill-seekers to search for treasure, magic, knowledge, and perhaps...friendship.
>Leave your humble notice at the local guild's public board. 'Level 10 Wizard seeking party for general adventuring and all manner of heroic tomfoolery'.

>Return to the board no less than half a day later to a surprising heap of replies.

>Level 91 Dark Elf Assassin wants to party with you (also her reply found its way into your belongings somehow)
>Level 94 Oni Warlord wants to party with you (her reply is a ragged scroll that's been stabbed to the board with a sword)
>Level 88 Succubus Paladin DEMANDS to party with you (she uses lots of strong, forceful language but still dots all of her i's and j's with hearts).
>Trio of Level 60 Orc Barbarians want to party with you (and also insist that they've already got your scent and are setting up camp).
>You've also got several guild invites which include one written in Eldritch
