It's hard to figure out what I should do.
I think I'll stick to 20 Kanji meanings a day with Heisig and Anki and read Genki on the side.
Then once I know enough Kanji and grammar I'll start reading and add Kanji I don't know how to read into a new deck and thus I'll eventually learn how to read the words that are used the most.
How flawed is my plan ?
