FUN SHARK FACT: The Chinese are the biggest consumers of shark fins in the world. This is quite a headache for shark conservationists because in order to harvest shark fins, you need to cut their dorsal, pectoral, and pelvic fins. Chinese fishermen cut these fins off from the sharks they catch while throwing their whole finless torsos back to the ocean. Obviously, these finless sharks are still alive but they're basically disabled now. Their method of locomotion were taken from them so they're basically sinking in the bottom of the sea. As they sink deeper, they will start to feel the ocean's weight fucking their bodies up. Their organs start to explode once they reach the depths of 1000 meters and they will most certainly die when they go down further up until they reach the seabed.
