The acorn-emblazoned info broker: A squirrel monster girl, the "Ratatoskr"!
She originates from Norse Mythology, as a squirrel living on the world tree of Yggdrasil, relaying messages between Hraesvelgr, the eagle perched at its peak, and Nidhoggr, dwelling beneath its roots. (Side note, the eagle at the top of the world tree that had a hawk sitting between its eyes that Ratatoskr interacted with was not named as being Hraesvelgr in the original mythos, this is an assumption and possibly mistake by KC)
As such, in the world of the MGE they became a race specialized in sharing information!
They're a highly social race, operating news organizations around the world, and they seem to have a headquarters of sorts, where they gather all their information, inside a giant tree almost kind of like the world tree, somewhere in the world.
