Practice is how you learn to make greater things, anon. There's this one Japanese artist that I like that said people who are skilled at anything aren't afraid to tackle challenges, even if they end up making a ton of mistakes and failing spectacularly. By failing, they gain awareness of the process and can keep moving forward.
This thinking helped me see my failures and mistakes not as an indication of my ineptitude and inability to improve, but rather as an opportunity to learn something new and fix my mistakes. It's specifically through recognising where you erred that you begin to improve. The death of improvement is being satisfied with the status quo and not wishing to understand where you messed up, or perhaps even being self-assured that you've reached your peak. So keep trying, failing, and learning from it, because that's how perfection is made!
