Hey /jp/, Is Mochi supposed to be completely hard, or filled with Ice Cream? I was at a japanese restaurant today with my imouto and we ordered Mochi. When we got our dish it was like biting on a tempura covered ball of choco ice cream, although it said it was red bean paste. Am I confusing another japanese dessert or something? I swore Mochi was completely made of the rice flour.
