Divi-Dead remains the only game I've been motivated to finish in this genre, thanks to the plot and above all the ambience.

My absolute favourite visual novel has to be Divi Dead. I was hooked up instantly/ It has a great storyline, but it's in TOTALLY different theme than Season Of Sakura. Anyway, if you don't mind a bit of violence and gore along with a dark atmosphere and some nice plot twists here and there then you should give it a try.
