>Tables turn when the 24 hour polar days begin and their husbands can molest them in their weakened state
Makes for a neat idea to have an Arctic undead city where the vampires have to deal with season-long night day cycles. At first I assumed that more dhampirs are conceived during the day season but the nighttime frenzies may also cause alot of "happy accidents".
It's stilly but I also wonder if a vampire getting pregnant during daytime or nighttime affects their child's behaviour in some way

Okay. I was curious if people have an issue with it the same way they do with blood donation. A lot of people have an instinctive reaction to the sight of blood. Having it bitten out of you by a living thing rather than a machine or syringe might have a very different effect, psychologically.

I have a thing for scratching and biting but can't donate blood because of some heart and blood pressure issues. I would feel, uh, conflicted if a pretty lady just bit down and started drinking me.
