Well I just got back from a date with Chihaya. It was awful.
She stared at the ground about 90% of the time. I'm seriously afraid she will get hit by a car crossing the street some day. I asked where she wanted to eat and she said no to everything, and suggested we “go for a walk”. We settled on some off brand burger joint we walked past, W Burger or something. Food was terrible. When I held the door open for her she got really mad, so when leaving I tried to see if she wanted to open the door herself and she just stood there.
We went to a music store afterword. Inside it wasn't too crowded, but whenever people were in a spot Chihaya wanted to browse, she stared at the floor quietly, doing that 4 arm thing she always does. A man asked if he was in her way and she didn't even acknowledge him. There was about a 20 minute period where my date completely disappeared. The store wasn't even that big so I don't know where she went. I just picked out Maaya Uchida's PENKI album and saw Chihaya had already bought something and was waiting on me. I asked her what she got and she said “some albums I wanted” (between now and when the date started she has said a total of 10 or 11 words to me)
We went back to her place and she literally just sat on the couch and listened to the cds she bought. She let me listen briefly to a classical album. I played on my phone for about an hour to cope with the boredom. She abruptly told me I had to leave because she had lessons. I walked to the door and she stood up and turned red but didn't say a word. And that was it.
