That's really, truly different for everyone. As someone who particularly likes demons considering I waifu one I like to think that from what material we see they're intelligent and free-willed enough to have other interests and ambitions than just sex. The way their biography is set up seems to imply that they were kind of a big deal in the hierarchy of the last Demon Lord's armies, as in the violent one, and having that experience of conscientiously experiencing the change from being violent manipulative conquerors to lustful manipulative seducers may have given them some perspective.
Another point to suggest they may have other hobbies or interests is in that they are explicitly said to be good at cooking meals for their husbands as well as they actively go out to buy clothes to impress their husband. There actually aren't alot of monstergirls who have that kind of stuff in their profile, kind of really 'mundane' activities that sound so human in nature, so I assume that the implication is that as part of their ability to be manipulative, Demons readily integrate parts of Human culture and society into their lives.
Think about it from the perspective of a traditional biblical Demon, they want to know what it is humans desire and operate on in order to be able to best tempt them right? So in the more laid back and less malicious setting of MGE, it makes sense that they'd want to have human interests and hobbies so as to best be prepared to entice husbands.

All in all, 'wandering scholar' states that for alot of MGs there has been a shift towards them taking up human hobbies and trying to integrate into human culture, so that combined with the aforementioned above makes it seem perfectly logical that Demons would get some more mundane interests like what you said, moreso even than alot of other monsters.

tl;dr its not just headcanon fluff that Demons seem more chill, there actually seems to be precedence in their lore that suggest they're more chill and willing to engage in human stuff
