Yeah but that's the point of the movement, to try and reset things and put them back to normal. Regardless of your feelings on the topic there's no denying that many cops overly profile black people, and black people always assume cops are out to get them because of it, and it feeds into itself. At some point someone (aka the movement) needs to get everyone to come together and work at remaking that image so it stops feeding into itself.
Reason why blacks are being protected and cops being 'attacked' here is that cops have the social and legal power.
plus regardless of racism, cops are 99% of the time just douchebags in general.
