What would be some melancholy things that could even happen with MGs if they ever hit Wild West tier civilization? What could even be their MG equivalent to something like the Final Duel from Once Upon a Time in the West?

>Eldritch abominations lurking in the wild frontier and ruins that predate early mans entrance onto the continent and are very shy because of it
All of whom are taking advantage of the sudden waves of single men travelling through to make their fortunes

There actually was a pretty decent manga about a woman gunslinger traveling through a mix of Meiji Japan/US Wild West. Her entire motivation was finding a husband while handling issues like bandits attacking towns and oppressive rail barons. It was one of the closest things to a plot you would find in mge without actually being related to mge. Name was Renjou Desperado if anybodies interested. I dropped it because it updated slowly so I don't know how it's holding up now
