Races have different animations, different weapon reach, ect. They are effectively unlisted "racials" some of which have substantial game changing differences while others are minor to negligible at best.

Most new players get stuck on the listed racials, like Aman taking 10% reduced damage in PvE and PvP at 30% and below HP, and choose their race / class combo on that.

I could go on forever but basically the two races with the smaller character models (FCastanic and Elin) are generally better melee classes because their attacks tend to move them further than others.

For the most part the only truly broken race / class is Elin Lancer. Warrior also favors Elin / FCast heavily but they aren't as bullshit by comparison. The other melees are less effected but have non-Elin "best" min/max race/class combos.

Elin Lancer is the only real deal game breaker with Elin / FCast Warriors trailing behind though. Ranged can be any race they want to be.
