Also, the chapter ends with Satoko talking about finding the Onigari no Ryuou. So, that's the explanation for it being empty already in Watadamashi in the manga. That scene was so bizarre in the anime, with it specifically being shown to be empty but Satoko only getting it later on.

I wonder if the anime's staff obsession with key numbers is responsible for that oddity and also the weird "I'll get a gun NOW, even though I actually trained in previous loops" stuff. They seemed to think that having a limited number of loops made things have more impact, but it just made the story odd in several points. Especially when Rika is comparing Gou's loops with the original ones. Or they suddenly bring up centuries passing.
