My parents told me that I should go to college if they were to pay for my do-nothing lifestyle. I have been going to college and getting decent grades without putting any effort besides doing the bare minimum which means taking tests/quizzes and doing the assignments I get.

I had to comply with their orders, and 4 years later after doing some things on the side that have netted me some cash, I'm finally graduating, and I'm scared about what to do next.

Right now I have around 300 words/kanji in my memrise long term so I review about 50-100 of those every day and that is usually around 20 or 30 minutes.

Then I learn 10-20 new kanji which can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, then review those and the new ones from the last few days which takes another 30 minutes.

Once I actually get up to the high numbers like 1000 I can see this taking multiple hours easily...

I wish I was NEETing it up. I'm about to fail a music class like a retard. Sometimes that little voice in my head that says to drop the class is actually right, and not just my brain being a dick.

I've only had to take two music classes in my life and both teachers were very rude. They were the standard classes you had to take in Elementary and the first teacher was a mean man and would bully me in front of the whole class. The second teacher was a lady and yelled at me+kicked me out of class for playing off beat with the triangle or something. She made me cry because I was never kicked out of class and was afraid of getting in trouble with my parents.

They're no better than School Coaches in my book.

I've only just realized after being NEET for almost eight years that forcing yourself into a sleep schedule is pretty much uselesss for a NEET. All those months of trying to go to sleep only to get a couple hours of sleep before waking up and feeling deprived feel like some kind of self-torture.

After giving up I've fallen into a sort of natural sleep cycle where I'm awake for 24-30 hours, asleep for 12-15, then awake for 13-18, asleep for 9-12 before starting over again from the 24-30 point. I have no trouble falling asleep like this and I stay asleep.

I went into a primary Arts school that also taught standard classes for Middle School. For 6th grade I went with Art class because I took a ton of Art classes in grade school that would actually pull me out of the main class, but the Art teacher for this school essentially said my drawings were garbage.
