There is a way to express it with a written word. A Japanese one, but it's still a word. If you try to put it in English, it loses meaning. This is how any word gets added to any language, really, but especially one like English that is mainly loanwords and derivations with so many dialects. Even if the word moe is only used for this definition in a small group, it's still a part of the dialect.

Without this, how would we have gotten words like hors'deouvre, perfect, malice, schadenfreude, lager, noodle, karaoke, futon, or tsunami? We had to borrow them from French, German, and Japanese.

It's pretty much possible, but the taste is kinda dull. Nobody eats the stuff daily, and anyone would pick foie gras over it.
Also, we drink wine everyday as well, not expensive gourmet shit, but a decent bottle might cost the equivalent of 2 bottles of soda, except you don't chug the motherfucker down like soda, you savour the shit, so a bottle will last you at least three days if you're the only person drinking from it.
