Rika is probably better than Satoko. But we don't really know anything about Rika, other than "she can see Hanyuu and everybody loves her". There's no actual character development for Rika, even Ooishi gets more development. Rika is almost Tomitake tier.

I couldn't imagine a way to make Rika a real character, though. I mean, the fact that her body is being possessed by an older "Rika" is what makes the entire story possible. Wait, why didn't R07 write some silly chapters featuring Rika? There are a lot of kakera untouched by anyone, the story could take place there. What a waste.

In the end, I like Satoko better. At least she is an actual character. Her proud personality turns me on, too.
