When they group the bosses by stage, does Yukari just get thrown in with the EX bosses? It seems like there's an even split when I look at fanart. Some include her, some don't.

I do not think that being an extra stage boss make you particularly stronger, see Kanako-Suwako/Hijirin-Nue.

Yukari is so special she got something no one else has, phantasm boss title.

In short, Yukari is too good for simple extra.

Well duh. Yukari's powers provide the infrastructure that separates gensokyo. If she wasn't such a lazy shit half the time the great barrier wouldn't be letting so much shit in from the outside.

It's probably very likely though that if the Watasuki sisters were to get put in a game they'd probably be in the triple ex stage or whatever.
