Would anybody be interested in a dedicated board (or two) on a random smalltime *chan with me as admin?
I'm thinking maybe two boards, one SFW and one for 'lewd' and fetish-y stuff. That way, the people who like it for the cuteness and the art perspective can have their discussions and the people who want to fap can post their stuff without the two groups bugging each other.
Also, on the NSFW part there is a board run by somebody I know, with some stuff many people may find even more disturbing than the people who complain about the kig threads.
I tried this with just the one board a while back, but due to lack of interest and some faulty software, it got deleted.

The reason it's best for it to stay on 4chan is that there is SO much traffic here that you'll occasionally get people clicking in and joining. If it's on some other chan the likely hood of that happening is so slim it isn't even funny.

The issue with them just sitting there is you'll probably annoy quite a few kigs by hosting their images.

If they claim copywrite and complain to your hoster they could potentially get you taken down or at least cause you headaches.

The thing about 4chan is that it moves so fast. By the time they could do anything, the images are gone. This also helps cycle images. Sure re-posting isn't the best but it can bring to light new images to people who haven't seen them.

Just because someone else also rants about wyu does not mean they're trashing Kuri here. I think its self inflicted honestly. Why? Because she has low self image and needs to find ways to get attention. On boards like /cgl/ its not uncommon for girls to create situations in which they appear to be attacked or hated in return for attention from men. The attention can be positive or negative but it does fill the needed void temporarily for them. Use QQ旋风 - i think its QQ tornado or cyclone or something. you have to create an account for it.
its a chinese download manager and it supports offline download. but when you try to download something, which is password protected AND someone used offline download on it, you will leech the file from the QQ servers instead from the hpsart webpage. just go to the hpsart page and add the dlamn-32divx.zip to the list. you may have to double click the file in the list serveral times before it starts and you get low downspeed (about 10kb/s in my case) but it works.

tested most of the dlamn divx videos.. those 3 were the only ones i could download.

i don't sew very often, but i have some basic sewing experience. i've made a few vests, some dresses, and a few other learning projects. i know zero about drafting my own patterns though, so i've never actually attempted a cosplay before.
