I don't think that's true, though. When I look through the archive, it seems like there are fewer of those threads. We've had at least two decent Sanae threads in the past couple weeks, and I can't recall any that weren't simply shitposting dumps in the 2 years prior to DDC. It also seems like it helps those threads get deleted faster when they do pop up, because the janitor gets tired of deleting all his posts.

It might not stop the people who spew this shit just because they like to spew shit, but it could stop the Sakuya fans who started it in the first place. If his goal is to shift it away from Sanae, then it looks like it's working to me. Just my opinion as a Sanae fan who also likes Sakuya.
