Welcome, new user to /jp/ - Japan/General! Hah, just kidding, this isn't Japan/General. This is Touhou/Visual Novels/Doujin Games.

If you want to discuss the different places you can visit in Japan, I suggest you go to /trv/ (though they also seem to hate Japan there, so don't annoy them too much). If you want to discuss the Japanese language, go to /lang/ (yes, 4chan has text boards!). If you want to discuss anime and manga, go to /a/ (some series that are based on light novels/VNs/games like Marimite and Higurashi can also be discussed in /jp/, it really depends, so lurk a bit to see what's acceptable). Finally, if you want to talk about Japanese history and culture, go somewhere else, nobody here knows or cares for that stuff.

/jp/ was created as a board to get rid of Touhou and visual novels from /a/, it was never intended to be a board about Japanese culture. Most of the users here don't care about Japan, we only care about lolis and doujin games.

30 years of birth decline is something you worry about if you are Japanese. If you are Japanese you worry about your race disappearing and non white gaijin speeding their seed in Japan and those had mixing and deluding your race. It is even worried about with the whites, but more acceptable since their skin tone matches the Japanese and can be breed easily back into the Japanese gene pool easily unlike other skin tones that are seen as unclean flesh tainted with color. A new series claims 20,000 half Japanese are born a year in Japan, but tis is unfounded and focus much on non-half-Japanese-half whites. The documentary pushes the envelope of guilt trip on Japan for not being multicultural, when in fact all Japan is doing is trying to preserve their culture.

OP this is why I'm making it my personal life mission to learn japanese to the point I become a master of speaking and culture, and then to go live in japan and work and finesse my way into having a harem of japanese women who will raise our hundreds of children with traditional japanese values and thus begin the population anew, stronger and more disciplined than ever before.

But they won't suddenly start to reproduce. What will probably happen at some point in the future is that the WTO and western banksters will force Japan to open wide the gates of immigration, which will wipe out whatever's left of japanese culture and people at the moment.

But like I said in a previous thread, I don't see otaku culture disappearing long before we're dead, because it will grow in the west - except if feminists, islamists or whatever -ists acquire enough power to make it go away.

Japans population will make a steep drop but not fatally steep.

The housing market would become MUCH cheaper due to the abundance of houses versus how many people are actually living.

Cheap housing will eventually make for an increase in ex-pat aging weaboos who become japanese citizens so they can spend their twilight years living like the nihongo.

Compared to the rest of the world Japan is downright homogenous. Places like the UK and France are borderline overrun with people that spread "multiculturalism" to the point of consuming and assimilating any unique aspects that may have existed in the first place. Japan's population decline is probably due partly to the way the country is more restrictive with immigration among other things obviously.

I heard about this as well but how realistic is this?

Do third party organisations really yield that much power to force a change in a sovereign country specially one like Japan to dramatically alter their immigration policy like that.
