Handwashing it in cold water is probably the best thing to do. Use a mild laundry detergent. You can wash it in a machine, but I'd really only do this if handwashing doesn't seem to get it as clean as you want. Turn it inside out and use the delicate setting. I've done both and never had a problem, though it will fade over time regardless. I'm guessing a washing machine will fade it faster. Either way, hang it up somewhere to dry. Don't put it in the dryer.

What material has the best durability to quality ratio? My 2way has fairly extensive damage after 8 months of heavy cuddling, and I don't think the extra smoothness is worth having the damage.

Wrong. An unofficial item (produced without license) is a legitimate doujin item, call it fanart if you like. The point is, by buying it you are paying the one who drew the art himself.
A bootleg is a knockoff created by printing someone else's art, there's no original art creation in it (unlike a doujin item, where the character may be licensed but the art is original). That's why it's cheaper.

It doesn't let your skin breathe on hot days and just isn't nearly as comfortable, so I've heard.

Buying a pillow that fits is extremely important. A pillow from the same website is very important. It fits so tightly that the daki is pretty much cylindrical after you're finally done carefully stuffing the pillow in. Which makes it VERY comfy to sleep with and more realistic, like you actually have your arms and legs around your waifu.

A a loose daki just wouldn't feel right.

If you must use a washer, turn the cover inside out. To wash by hand, fill a tub or wash basin with lukewarm water and a cup of detergent. Let the cover sit fully submerged for a few minutes. Agitate it with your hands and go over any tough spots with a toothbrush. In both cases, you'll want to air dry after instead of using a dryer.

You can get new, original ones on Toranoana. Most if not all are released on 160x50cm. Being originals, can be expensive. And you'll need a proxy/forwarding.

Personally not a huge fan of the mouth on the right side, but you're clearly able to color and draw clean lines. I don't think 100€ is objectively unreasonable, but if artists of similar quality charge less you're obviously going to have competition problems.

Also depends on what you're willing to draw. People pay more for niche stuff. If someone wanted something like this, not every artists would be capable/willing to do it, so if you are able to do something like this you could potentially charge a lot more.

I don't think a bank would freeze your account over one purchase. If it does end up getting flagged as suspicious, they'll likely contact you and ask you to verify if it's legit or not. Even this is rather unlikely though. Banks tend to know what looks like fraud looks like.

I have some that I bought off taobao that have a yellow tint for the skin. All the other parts of the print seem to be the colour its supposed to be.
