It's the guy making that loli kidnapping and rape simulator. I might actually release a short playable version just to demo the rape dungeon creation (I'll leave the town part in, but don't expect it to be remotely functional at all) stuff near the end of the month if all goes well.

If I have time I'll quickly put in loli breeding (for the purpose of the demo lolis would be able to mate with other lolis)

The game is pretty unfinished/buggy though. I hope I don't get anyone's hopes up and disappoint them.

For example:

*Collisions between many things have been turned off since there were some bugs (car pileups, etc)

*Lolis dont really do anything besides sit around waiting to be kidnapped/raped

*Once you pick up a chloroformed loli you can't put her down, unless you put her into a car

*Dialogue is limited and the only thing that has any effect is attacking her (she dies eventually) or chloroforming her (you pick her up)

*Many minor things like lolis always doing run anim when not walking (all easily fixable but there's so many it would take a long time to do them all)

Also there's only 2 sex scenes (and only 1 is rape) in the game so far.

If I do add in mating, pregnancy will probably be super simplified at first. Maybe I'll just add in a "advance month" button, or make the game constantly advance or something. I don't know.

I'd like to point out that those are just how the 4 skin tone genes (Dark1, Dark2, Hue, Tint) map out when those are the expressed alleles.

The hair colour and eye colour are controlled by separate genes. Hair colour is by 5 genes with 4 being controlling the pigmentation, where if the total amount of dominant pigment genes is 0 it's light blonde, 1 is golden blonde, 2 is light brown, 3 is brown, and 4 is black/dark brown. Oh, and there's 1 gene for melanocortin-1 receptor (ie read hair) which is recessive and if it's expressed and the overall pigmentation is less than 3 the girl will be a redhead. For eye colour I just have 2 controlling pigmentation, so 0 dominant = green, 1 dominant = blue and 2 dom = brown. I'll probably add in more hair/eye colours later.

Hair/eye/skin colour are not tied whatsoever. However, the lolis are generated from a set amount of gene pools (so far: Nordic, Euro, Mediteranian, Indian, African, Hispanic, East-Asian. - I might add more later) which control the probability that a given gene will have the dominant vs recessive allele when creating some DNA from scratch. Of course when you breed them it just uses the parent's DNA like in real life. There's no mutations or anything yet though.

Each of the gene pools is then further split up into nationalities which are all externalized and 100% modable by users. This is just a way to split the gene pools further in a way that affects things like default names. For example, Euro is split into English/French/German/Ukranian/Russian and each of those has a text file somewhere that has the top 20-60 most common names for those countries. If anyone wants to compile some lists for other countries I have absolutely no problem adding those countries into the official game. And of course you can always add those into your copy of the game instantly by just editing some text files. Pic related, it's the Japanese one.

I want to make a video game. I want to be able to give people the same joy that I have been given. Video games have practically been my life, I've played and enjoyed so many I've lost count.

From a young age I always had a creative mind, always going full speed with ideas and junk. I thought for sure I would do something with my art as I got older, but as time went on art just became such a source of frustration and depression that I simply stopped a few years ago. I'll occasionally pick up a pencil and try to draw again, but every time I do I just end up in a shitty mood where I shoot myself.

I've tried to let out my creative urges in other ways, but can't really. Can't play music, can't sculpt, don't have money for any instruments. Can't do photography (which is whatever anyways), not a good writer, etc. I even bought some books and tried to teach myself programming at one point in hopes of doing something with it, but that ended up being a waste of time and money. I just want so desperately to be able to create and have people enjoy things I've poured my sould into, but I lack the skills to do ANYTHING. I try to change it, I honestly do, but a lack of money and being badly burned by art has caused me to just sit here rotting my life away doing absolutely nothing all day. I'll never get to make that dream game I want to make.

I don't think a simple MMO would take that long to create depending on what it was. I mean there's already Byond for making online games, but if you're making some simplistic 2d or even 3d thing it shouldn't take too long to get it up and running if you can get the graphical and musical resources.

Depending on the types of systems you add that take it away from just being some hack and slash diablo clone it might take more effort. Also if you wanted to make it a real mmo and not just an mmo sim.

Something like a normal RPG would take longer with having to come up with storylines and places that actually flowed together instead of "kill 20 boars and bring me their jowls".

I've written several scripts which vary in depth and completion. I turned one of them into a mini-HQ (4 pages) and the other into a 3 minute animation short. I've also done some character creation for fun, and world creation too. Putting both together sucks though. I either love the character too much to care about the scenario or vice-versa.

I used 2 VSTs and FL Studio's default percussion to make this and had ZERO music theory. It's shit, but it's music and helped me to learn a lot about the basics of the software, I would do it and use YouTube lessons every now and then to solve some problems.
If you're still pulling that "I wouldn't even be able to do something like that song, anon, you're obviously more talented than me!", I can show you earlier stuff, made with a tracker, or even earlier "concrete music", which was basically fiddling with samples, pan and volume, no music at all. That sucked so hard, but was a learning experience.

Since the SoundCloud above, I have studied the equivalent of 2,5 years of musical theory, and it hasn't been half as useful as DOING MUSIC. There's where you most learn. And I understand your mental block, I have it whenever I open my DAW. But you gotta push sometimes, not everything will be pleasure. Most of it will be doubting your own capacities, this is the path to mastery. Same goes for every area of creation.

Just wing it. I sure did. Almost two years ago, with no experience or skill in any musical instrument, I downloaded FL Studio. Started banging on the keys and slowly, really slowly started learning what notes sounded nice together, what sounded nice after another and whatnot. The only thing I probably did have was an idea of "what sounded nice". Nothing concrete, because I didn't even know how to read, much less write musical notes. I really liked making music, so it didn't bother me that I was shit at first, and even then it was easy enough to make "nice" music by making it really simple, only 1-3 instruments at a time with very little variation from the core "notes that sound nice". Then I started listening to music more closely - figuring out what notes they used together, after another, but only to those music I deemed to "sound nice" to begin with. If you want to write good music, you have to internalize music. There's no other way. All the theory you will ever know, all the production skills you will ever learn, is useless if you haven't internalize music. After all, how would you know how to play/write music if you don't know what music is, or what's "musical"?

If you're willing to pick up an instrument, great! That's a great way to absorb music into your core. Otherwise, just by messing about with a VST enough times, you will be able to get a feel for what's "musical" (though this method might be slooooow).

Me too. I had one do these sprites, but they didn't feel like they'd be able to keep up enough motivation to all the spirtes for the entire game and decided not to do it. They were more interested in 12-15 yeard olds if I remember correctly which is why they would've been more lacking in motivation when the game is mostly 4-14 (or at least those are the ages I generate lolis in... although the sprites are only for the 10yo or so age, I'll make smaller ones for the younger lolis eventually).

I've got them in the same gene pool as Spanish/Italian, which has a higher rate of darker skin pigments and lower rates of blonde hair than the mid-European pool (which I have English/French/German/Ukranian/Russian in). (Swedish/Norwegian/Finnish are in the Nordic pool)

There, I made the Greeks slightly more tanned than they were before. For some reason I thought I was overriding the default dominant-allele-probability for the Tone gene, but it turned out I was only doing it for the Dark1 skin pigment gene but not the Tone pigment gene. I think these kind sites and charts are going to merely confuse beginners when they get to more advanced stuff because they go too fast and just leave you with more questions. I can say this from first hand experience.
If you never want to need to look at these charts again or if you want to understand the secrets of your favorites composers and not being dumbfounded by something like a ivø7, I'd recommend getting a harmony text book like "Harmony And Voice Leading". This book covers extremely basic music theory at the beginning and you just need to be able to read the clefs (musictheory.net is pretty good for this). It's 700 pages long but it's pretty easy to read and understand, at the end you'll be able to make sense of almost everything.

Here you go.

I tried setting the velocity a bit below half to "soften" what I think you mean, which is the sound of the initial hit of the key. This made the instrument too silent, so I just pumped up it's volume to compensate.

Personally, I prefer the one with the hit better. Conjures up the image of the sunset a bit better, I think, and it morphs midway along with the higher notes into sounding a bit like a xylophone with a stellar pitch to it.

Just to add all mastering does is polish the track, not remove errors in the mix. If your premaster sounds like crap, it's still gonna sound like crap regardless of how many limiters/compressors you slap on the master.

If you're talking about non-organic stuff, most packs are released with minimal processing as to accommodate for any type of mixdown. You'd rather compress a sample yourself (say in edm where your master is probably brickwalled to hell) instead of trying to 'uncompress' a pre-processed sample

Likewise in an orchestral you might leave some low-end in a sample to preserve its timbre rather than cutting it too much that it begins to sound artificial

doesn't matter. People can mix with -6db or -1db but the main point is to keep your dynamics as constant as possible (assuming you're not making something that goes from ppp to fff)

Most people who rely on limiters to make their track 'work' often have trouble controlling/fixing the peaks in their mixdowns. As long as the dynamic range is fairly consistent throughout the track, you should be fine.

Of course, how much range to leave entirely depends on context. Are you making a edm track (1st waveform) or something more analog (2nd waveform)?

Yeah, it's basically like a cheat sheet for all major/minor scales. It's going by the assumption that perfect fourths/fifths are the intervals that sound the most pleasing to the ear (consonant), so if you played a Cmaj chord and went a fifth up to Gmaj (or fourth depending depending whether you went an octave up or down).

Also as you go round the circle you'll notice that each scale has 1 more sharp/flat than the previous one (useful for finding out which keys easier modulate/change to which) etc
