Personally, I'm a little bummed that it looks like she's getting her UFO snakes and frog nuke into one shot and that's it. Her miracle and shrine maiden powers give her the most diverse powerset in Gensokyo by far - why not make her use the paper amulets, whirlwinds, tidal waves, falling stars, pentagram-shaped danmaku, pentagram and grid-shaped barriers, barrages of miracle fruit seeds and rice, barrages of random fortune packets, flying snakes and exploding water frogs of various sizes, a spell that drains out youkai power and her shrine maiden ability to summon goddesses Kanako and Suwako (who perfom attacks with onbashiras, wind, water or rocks), all in the same shot type? A fusion of two types from UFO won't do her justice.

Her stronger falling star spell card actually encompasses the entire sky in 12.3 and her Kanako summon also has a charge attack as well as her Suwako summon has an iron ring attack. Just completing the list - with all that at her disposal, I can see her going toe to toe with Yorihime if she ever made full use of it.

Sanae is best left an adorable mascot though instead of making her fight and get beaten.

Sakuya also has that perfection and elegance thing going, but that kinda clashes with her more airheaded moments like opening a window in space or replacing a broken teacup with a broken teacup. It's up to the individual to decide how much depth there's under her perfection facade, I suppose.

Personally, it bothers me how far does the fandom blow her youkai extermination streak out of proportion and make her into a bully. Whereas her approach to youkai is both justified (she's too good-hearted to turn a blind eye to what's essentially murder and cannibalism from her perspective) as well as not actually as bad (her dialogues with Kogasa feel notably nicer than Reimu's and she doesn't have actual blood on her hands as of now, unlike the latter after recent Forbidden Scrollery chapters (regardless of how justified one finds *that*).

She's another shrine maiden, trains youkai extermination, is a foil to Reimu and has a personality quite close to that of Marisa and commands a wide array of miracles. And to top it off, ZUN made a blunder and used a Spell Card canonically meant to be a recitation for another miracle (as Grimoire of Marisa says) as her SOLE Spell Card as a playable character. Yes, her TD bomb is Esoterica "Gray Thaumaturgy" - her Normal mode midboss card and the light bullet spread 2card from Hisoutensoku (do not confuse with Esoterica "Forgotten Ritual", Hard mode equivalent and 4card star barrier in Hisoutensoku).

Honestly, I don't mind that much. It's actually a great bomb in TD since it's stronger and longer than Fantasy Seal and lets Sanae shotgun the boss while not pathetically slowing her down like Master Spark, so Youmu's bomb is the only one I would call better. Hell, I actually loved the concept of her gaining her own signature move alongside Fantasy Seal and Master Spark, if not for that part about it being a mere recitation for other miracles.

But Gray Thaumaturgy *does* fit as her signature move - her clever idea about turning a recitation into a Spell Card itself is pretty unique. The only similiar thing that comes to mind is Byakuren's shockwave chant that erases bullets and lightning chant that shoots separate lightnings around her even before unleashing stored lightnings if chanted enough times.
Honestly, I'd rather argue against Gray Thaumaturgy being her signature move for thematic reasons (she is a *wind* priestess and a pentagram made of sacred light is a little too close to Marisa's style), but it's a pretty good choice.
