Using nutaku's name would not be a good idea, unless they made the forum or gave some kind of written consent. I'm not against demonessforums, but again it still reflects one game - not that it actually can't be related to one particular game. As far as I know, Aigis is the only demoness we will have but I'm also not well informed about DMM/future nutaku games.

We can accumulate some suggestions and then maybe use some kind of poll to decide?
I might also point out that any suggestions should be checked for availability, using a registration service such as namecheap.com or 1and1.com.

Suggestions can also try and get creative by using names that make clever use of the top level domain (the .com part). Google's short url service uses one, for example. But do try and be mindful of the TLD's price point!

I'm thinking of quitting LoV. Too many unused cards, I don't know what to do with them. Repeated clicking to progress on quests and defeat bosses has become quite repetitive as well. I just don't really see the appeal of the game anymore.

Third JP event map is a flying rush.

Red super gargoyle, about 5 blue gargoyles, then another red and a black. The rest of the map is red goblins with a bunch of fliers.

I had to retreat my cc60 archer I placed with a cc50 witch to throw down my Onmyoji that stops all enemies in range in their tracks for 5 seconds to prevent any from getting through.

Archer and witch both cost 14, had about 11 points when I had to retreat my archer.

On the other hand, LoV gives away lottery tickets if you loyally log in every day. So if you really don't want to pay, you can just squat to get the premium units/weapons. Storage however, does need to be paid for and life will be a little miserable later down the road if you never buy any.

Also as far as playing for free, LotV feels much better than Aigis. Getting a good weapon from a bunch of restarts is a faster ticket to winning than getting a good Aigis unit.

Really isn't that bad to 1-2 star at all, it's a pain in the arse to 3 star though. Just use your strongest soldier at the position before the bridge, and as she gets near death, swap her out and place a Heavy Armor down on the bridge. Some things will most likely leak through but you should be able to get through it.

If you want to 3* it without swapping units, Aria at like, 50CC35 w/ 100% Aff is sufficient (got sick of only getting 2 stars due to not swapping units fast enough and leaking a single unit).

Something like this is what I always imagined "combining" units in any game is like. You have this arcane circle chiselled out in the cold stone floor in one of the rooms at the very bottom of your dungeon. When it's time to "combine" units, what's really happening is that you place the unit that's about to be level'ed up in the middle, and tie the units to be sacrificed down at key spots around the circle.

You light the candles and begin chanting the appropriate prayer to Aigis in a low baritone-kinda voice as you methodically walk around the circle, slitting the throat of each sacrifice. As they lay gurgling on the floor you take out four ritualistic knives and plunge them into the heart of each person, making sure that their heartsblood fall into the chiselled lines of the circle.

The circle fill out with their blood, and as it reaches the middle the entire thing begins to glow as the unit being level'ed shrieks in abject horror while s/he's being filled with the very souls of the other units.

Afterwards, the unit has gained some definition to their musculature and is obviously stronger, but their eyes are also that much deader. Level 50 units have completely blank eyes, and they behave more like automatons than anything else off of the battle field, obeying your every command. Completely dead inside.

No one talks about the ritual openly, but everyone knows that it's being done. Hushed whispers follow you as you stalk through the corridors of your castle at night. Sometimes you think you can see faint, ethereal outlines of spirits at the very edge of your vision. Spirits writhing in silent agony, their eyes black and hollow.

There was literally like a -1 second CD on her 39 second CD skill per level. Berna: Early-game cheeser with insta-assassinate, surprisingly good dodgetank due to having high HP for a rogue. AW increases assassination chance, skill AW turns her attack into AoE.

Despara: Initially just a stronger Adele, AW later ups her attack speed to the point that she can freeze an enemy so fast that they can't escape. Skill AW boosts her attack to ridiculous levels, but at a cost of reducing her range.

Clissa: Tanky duelist that can self-heal. Safe lich killer. Eventually gets party buffs that make her better than Thetis.

Sybilla: She's a princess that can assassinate. And later gets sword beams. That also ignore defense and can also assassinate.

Nanaly: Considered one of, if not the most broken units in the game. Wrecks any unit that doesn't have high defense. Then later ignores that anyway when skill AW ignores defense and fires FIVE arrows at once instead of 3-4 (IIRC).

Liana: Probably the least useful healer right now, due to high cost and paralysis not being a big deal for us at the moment. Still, she has her uses. She wasn't meant to be gacha though.

Elaine vs Kerry, who should I level?

I know Kerry has better stats overall, but she costs a bit more UP, and I have enough spare Elaines to reduce her cost AND CC her later on, which can't be said about Kerry.

The guys who have completed this map in the EN version of Aigis have had the +5 unit points bonus bought from the shop as well as some cost reduced premium witches and still no one was able to 3-star it, as far as I know. The only way for us to do it without the boost is raising 2 Calliopes to 50CC50 + 100% aff, both min-costed, plus at least -2 CR Belinda (Cloris won't do, too costly).

Belinda has 13 at min-CR. Cloris can't be CR'd outside a Time Fairy which is out of the question since I want my Anya. Only one Calliope needs to be max cost reduced if I keep the other at -2.

Generally there are 2 main reasons why the map is so hard for us: our Cloris couldn't be cost-reduced and the JP Aigis has had a rebalancing update that reduced the cost of ALL witches by 1, which we haven't yet. -I think a priority should be to get a team that can farm the Gold armor daily E/N for money, you can find vids online for examples
-Fairies give x2 exp when you use combine them with a unit of the same color/rank
-If you luck out and get an exp armor from the gold armor daily only use them with 3 fairies for 8k exp, you can get a unit from level 40(silver)/41(gold)/42(plat) straight to 50 saving you some dosh
-Only go for 5 crystal lottery and pray when you do

For the crystals they have uses in events to restore your stamina/charisma, you can also use them to increase your storage space by 4 per crystal in the shop. I was just saying that if you were going to try the lottery, the 3 star one has very bad rates for rarer units, that said you'll still get silvers about half the time from the 5 star one though.

As for classes, you want to have units from each one available so you can change up strategies when you need to.

Kancolle is a... RNG simulator I guess? You get a team, set a team of 6 and you pick a map, at times the path you go on a map is random (some maps have conditions), the attack targets are almost completely random, damage can vary a lot. There's not much gameplay.

It's very free to play though.

Regarding class evolution, there is an exception to evolving at level 50, but it's not really something you need to worry about if you are freemium (and thus don't have an excess amount of silver+ units to burn).

Besides Dorania, the last event unit (who caps at level 30), you can evolve units at level 30 IF AND ONLY IF you plan on feeding them to another unit for cost-reducing, skill-leveling, or (later) awakening purposes.

Again, it's not something you probably need to worry about anytime soon, it's just something I don't see mentioned often.

Well, first off, we're still waiting for a Kancolle localization announcement, but that won't be made until September at the earliest.

As for the game itself, by my understanding, it has less of an emphasis on level grinding and more on resource and material grinding. I've heard leveling doesn't make much difference in Kancolle, but people often grind maps to get their waifu ships to drop, or for large ship construction, which I assume is their form of gacha.

With Aigis, when there aren't any events or dailies, you'll be running the same few maps to either farm fodder units for leveling and/or getting gold, or for raising your own level. Then you'll be trying to three-star every map (story, daily, or event), which gets you a crystal the first time you do so. You also get a crystal every five days, at a max of five crystals per month.

the first 3 levels grant you 6 crystals and take around 10 minutes to complete after you create your account. you get 100 free gold at account creation and if you use referrals you get another +100 on the account you create and the account you're referring to.

so it's possible to get 8 sacred crystals in just 10 minutes really fucking easily. that's enough for a premium summoning and even a rare summoning. if you roll a really good premium summoning you can just save those 3 crystals, do another 2 levels and do another premium very fast.

Yeah, leveling increases evade/anti-sub and I'm not sure what else but it's not too important, you level up girls so you can evolve them.
And yeah ship construction and LSC are the game's gatchas, but of the top of my head only 2 girls are exclusive to LSC and everyone else can be gotten from events (as drops or rewards for clear), LSC won't be available for a few months anyway.

If you want to commit a lot of time to Aigis, consider buying the x1.2 EXP buff for 5 crystals. The more frequent level ups will mean your earlygame Charisma gets topped up a LOT more frequently. You can condense a lot of levels into about a week of no-life grinding.

Not officially, but it's one of the most prolific franchises in Comiket in recent times. You won't have difficulty finding hentai of it.

How it compares gameplay wise? Well look at Milihime if you want to know what Kancolle is like mechanics-wise. But in general, Aigis refills your resources over time and has a strict max cap. KanColle refills your resources to a soft cap, lets you be economic about their usage if you field earlygame units and you can work to stockpile more resources. In short, KanColle lets you play more, but there's less interaction involved when playing.

The H-scenes aren't really worth the trouble in my opinions but if you must see them, just level them to 50.
Most units are useable at least under some circumstances but 30CC'd units are pretty much worthless. I'd recommend 50CCing a unit if you are going through the trouble of maxing her affection anyway. Also, as you get a limited number of silvers (unless you buy crystals), the price of that early CC can leave you lacking the units needed for something else.

Can anyone help me with this problem? When I play Aigis on my desktop, everything runs smoothly. But when I play it on my laptop, the game runs extremely slowly and laggy. You definitely need at least 1 anti air for dragon, 1 to handle the initial rush on the east side, 1 main tank and 1 healer. I have a question about Skill Level ups. So from what I gather, in order to level up a unit's skill you need to combine into it a unit with the exact same skill.

Using my Sakuya's Increase Attack III as an example:
If I were to combine a Gadoras who also has a Increase Attack III skill, Sakuya's skill level will go up.

But then I read that Sakuya's skill changes from Increase Attack III to Increase Attack IV upon CC.

Will the skill levels that were upped before the CC be lost? So i would need to used CC Gadoras to skill up CC Sakuya?

When should I be doing challenges, drills, dailies etc etc? I remember reading that dailies (IIRC) new players ignore for quite a while since they're quite hard off the bat and require higher level characters.

Are there any particular things new players can horribly fuck up and you can't revert? I remember an anon recently saying you should mostly be spending your crystals on the 5 crystal RNG for a unit. Otherwise, keep some to restore stamina when needed.

Are there any units that one should avoid or is it simply pick who you want? This is within their own class (ie healer compared to all other healers)

Challenges and Drills you can do right away. The last mission of Chloris' Drill can be hard though.

You need them to buy anything, but you can browse without them.

Eating your Silvers or wasting Crystals on Charisma/Stamina is really the only thing you can fuck up when you're a noob.

There are stronger units within the same rarity and class, but you can use any girls you like in the long run. There are people on JP who do some crazy builds. I've heard of a Chinese Princess who only uses Ninjas, some Princess who made her army a reverse harem (male units only), some dude who only uses Bandits etc.

It's generally anywhere from 20-30% the first time, and it will always be 100% for the second time. The average though is from 25-30% so the first scene will occur more often around there though there are some that will unlock their first scene as early as 20%. It all depends on the girl.

For affection items, the challenge quests, Wednesday Daily Quests, some Event maps, and from the Daily Reward Bonus are where you'll be able to get them.

As for the Trading Post, you'll need to farm Demon Crystals from the Thursday Daily. Occasionally, some Events will have it as a drop, like the current one we have now. However, it's usually in the later and more challenging maps and, considering the event we have has a terrible drop rate, the chances are low to dropping one, but not impossible.

You should try to do the drills though since they give you enough free silver units to make a starting army with, you should be able to easily three star all of them at the very beginning except for Cloris' last one, and repeating challenges is really how you farm affection items outside of the affection item daily.

Also adding to what the other anon said about fucking up is that don't ever evolve a unit you intend on using unless it is max level since you will make them useless in the long run. I say units you intend to use as later on you will start evolving some units early for fodder

There's another trick if you're not running a quest.

If you transition between the home/quest page, unit page, or shrine, the music changes. But if you switch tabs during that transition when the music stops, the transition itself is paused, so you also won't hear anything.

It really depends on what you are trying to do. At lower levels for units there is really no reason to be too worried about feeding based on class type because the advantage is so minimal and once you can farm the Monday daily effectively gold becomes fairly inconsequential. Once you reach 40 with any unit you should only really be feeding with fairies to minimize gold cost, but before that point it is not really essential either. Once you reach >40 with any unit, it becomes more necessary to maximize XP gain because of the massive gold drain units are at that point, but even then it is not too important.

Honestly, so long as you are not sacrificing silvers or better and don't care for a little longer on gold farming, than it really does not matter.

CC = Class Evolution. It's called CC because it was Class Change in japan and that way of calling it just stuck.

It should always be done to level 50 units as it keeps the stats it had before but the level reverts back to 1, meaning you can level it up again and gain those stats again.

The reason you're hoarding silvers is because to CC a silver or gold you need a silver of that class and to CC a plat or black, you need the total of 3 silvers plus a fairy of that rarity.

When a unit is CC'd it gains something special depending on class. As an example, mages witches, healers and archers gain range, soldiers can block one more unit and armors can attack faster. Their skill is also upgraded to a better verson (Call for Reinforcements II -> Call for Reinforcements III and so on). This however means that all skill upgrades the unit had before are reset.

Combining silver units should only be done when you have a lot of a unit type and you know you won't need all of them to CC your plats.

Awakening is a system not in english version yet.

Nanaly is a monster because of her skill, triple shot which becomes Quadra shot after CCing her. It means she can actually be used to kill armored enemies too and makes her a monster. She is actually the best archer in the whole game.

You should definitely get her to max and then CC her, but you should always aim to max out your archers' affection too.

I cleared it, and I don't have an especially strong line-up.
I'm trying to clear the world of Darkness mission, but having little luck.
My Prince is at lvl 24, everyone else is around 10~15.
My current plan is to try and hold off 2 dragonmages, while I wipe everything else out, then let the mages through.

I managed to beat 5 missions within 2 days with what was mostly an untouched account, so it's definitely possible, but you'll have to make the most of what little time you have left, i.e. always be back in time for grind when you have enough charisma to level up.

Unfortunately, I don't have any specific memories of how you should go about mission 4, but that also means that it wasn't particularly hard compared to mission 5. I think after even half a day of active grinding, you should be strong enough to beat it. Note that you don't need to 3 star, so you just have to handle the small waves, the big stuff at the end can just be let through.

1)Play in firefox. Chrome splits itself into a bunch of processes and is a pain in the ass.
2)Open process list, select FF.
3)Start map, scan for your number of lives.
4)Let one unit through, pause as soon as the number changes, next scan for your new number.
5)Repeat until you find it. Then just set it to total mob number plus one and go AFK.

No, I did world of darkness after 5-7 days, not sure anymore. Nutaku has clarified in a later twitter post that "The Fugitive" does count as a mission, so by mission 5 I meant ryujin king.

As to how to beat World of Darkness, I beat it after CCing a healer, which is probably the bare minimum requirement. I also had a level 30 princess, which is very useful for quickly taking out one of the dragon mages. If you don't have one, it's probably a good idea to also CC a valkyrie.

That was for 3 star though. If you don't need to 3 star, you can probably just distract the mages for a bit and then let them walk through, but a CC'd healer definitely helps with that as well.

On a side note, after killing the top lane mage, you can remove your bottom lane tank and then place another one so that the mage turns around. This made it so that the fireball aoe doesn't hit a healer placed on the island above, which means that you can now infinitely heal against the mage and beat it even if your unit does next to no damage.
