It's basically a cardboard box https://store.usps.com/store/browse/productDetailSingleSku.jsp?productId=P_GB_FRB which is about the size of a DAO PEE. You then cut out holes for the buttons with an xacto knife, then get the shittiest possible buttons, encoders, and chinese arduino ripoffs off of ebay for about 50-60 dollars in total.

The rest of the hundred dollars is spent buying 12x24 sheets of acrylic and asking the fab lab to cut it out/engrave overdesigned patterns/weeb art using the illustrator file I screenshotted.

Manually stretch out the microswitch springs because the chinese seem to love 500g microswitches, cut the 1000g springs in half to reduce preload, wire the shit together with leftover wires from a lab kit, throw some stolen game controller code into the arduino, slap a disk of acrylic onto the encoder, and tada, you have a ghettomode iidx controller for less than 100 bucks.

At least, that's the way I plan it. It worked for SDVX.

I got an FP7 about a year ago and the turntable had minor issues where it would have multiple phantom scratches while only playing on the keys, and while scrolling through the song list it would sometimes register a stratch in the opposite direction. Dao sent out a larger felt pad, PCB, and new firmware. It got a lot better, but I still get the issue once in a days session.

There's groove coaster on both android and ios if you wanna try it out. It's not 100% arcade accurate like jubeat plus or reflec beat (multiple slide notes is a bitch to do on a touchscreen). Some good track packs if you like Tatsh's stuff.

The way seeding works, I'm pretty sure they have to download it from you.

And I'm pulling stuff out of my ass, but 0 (1) probably means that someone's downloading, but they aren't connected to you, or they're downloading the file from some other seed.

Basically the way to gain ratio is to download featured albums and hope you can seed them enough before everyone else downloads them to gain ratio, upload your own shit or upload albums that are related, fulfull requests by uploading your own shit, or having an asston of AC data and waiting until freelech.

Tokyo Attack doesn't have eAMUSE, they have SPADA yes but their BemanicPC's and their dongles/HDDs are all LDJ which had SPADA on when exported so they just get it to boot with an eA auth server. No eA player support at all (as far as I'm aware).

PENDUAL isn't being shared because we're waiting for it to sunset and the Thomas the tank engine update to be released. People understand the risks of releasing it early and are respecting n-1.

And I've never heard of this other arcade, it might be on a sows rip of Jubeat taking cash, there's no real restrictions on that other than getting the go ahead from DJH but it certainly wont be eA enabled with any network we're affiliated with.

Honestly it's mostly about the games I would say, but it is the best place for support ABOUT Bemani in general, making controllers, talking about PC setups for Bemani, etc. For programming, I don't know, the non-gaming sections may have some hobbyists for sure. Unrelated, but there's also a handful of people into music production for obvious reasons.

The group who cracks the Bemani games are the only ones who you might have fun talking too but they're pretty secretive because they don't want to get a lawsuit, and nobody in the world really gives a crap about cracking arcade games besides the Bemani scene. You'd be a hero if you could crack Taito and Sega stuff, though, I think there's uncracked data on the tracker for some games.

Don't even bother man. Taito stuff isn't exactly "hard" but it will involve you having to reverse the hardware that the machine uses which is a modified PS3 which would just mean you'd spend a lot of money and people wouldn't be able to even play it in the first place.

And for sega games... Oh man don't even TRY. Both maimai and project diva have insane encryption scemes that involve custom hardware which is checked on boot which is required to even boot the game (and again, custom hardware so tough luck), 256 bit RSA encryption on the HDD and a load more.

Trust me, there is a reason that any taiko games or rhythm games from Sega haven't been cracked. It's either pointless or damn near impossible

Correct on DIVA, on the plus side SEGA was talking about releasing the arcade version to consoles/PC and gauging interest in a poll a while back. I imported diva 2nd so I could play the user made songs and one of those weird pad with the buttons on it and have plenty of fun with that as is.


On a side note,The Round 1 has 2x SDVX III and 2x IIDX 22 as well as 2x Future Tone machines on top of some other shit i dont play. Gitadora drums/guitar setup, some taiko cabs (2 I think), pop n music (ancient idr which version), and Groove Coaster. Which is great... if it werent for the 2 loud as fuck PIU machines right in the middle. I fucking hate having all the rhythm games grouped when most don't have a jack for headphones..

I've been thinking about getting a Amp/DAC for my headphones when I go to play SDVX. Even with HDJ-1500s, which are sealed headphones and pretty decent quality, all I can hear is fucking BLOCK B blasting next to me and the bass rattling the cab. SDVX cabs need to go louder with headphones.. Groove Coasters on the other hand is great with headphones.

I'd probably get some weird looks setting that up though.
