Is there any way of getting rid of all the white in the original picture without having to go through the whole thing with an eraser in SAI? Right now I have it on a top layer set with a transparency of 50%, but that really washes out the colors on the other layers unfortunately.

On Sai 1.1.0, it's under Layer > Luminance to Transparency. Thanks, though!

I've never colored anything in my life and just followed the first tutorial I found off of google. It took three hours but that was very relaxing and I'm happy with the result. Thoroughly recommend it to any other bored /jp/sies.

I thought it was way more intimidating than I expected but I was overthinking it. It actually feels pretty simple, apply a basic flat color, then shade that color depending on where you want shadows to be. The rest is tool nuances, like finding out how to make the white transparent without reducing the picture's opacity.

It's not my drawing originally, sorry. I just search pixiv for lineart and clean it up for easy editing for people that use mspaint or other things.

Look forward to next time. I have a Patchy and Kasodani from the same artist in a similar style, or I might find a better one by then.

GIMP works fine, just don't use the paint bucket. Put the colors on a separate layer below the line-art, and set the line-art layer to Multiply if it wasn't transparent. Use the Grow Selection option by one or two pixels after you've selected something with the magic wand. And use the brush to clean up edges.

Some of these are nothing special, anon. Just look up a reference image and draw your favorite 2hu's clothes and join in the fun. I'm willing to wager most people did it with a mouse.

90% of them are flat colors too. There's nothing too impressive about this that you couldn't also very easily do.

Um, I don't know what the fuck I am doing.

I have been trying to work my head around how to deal with sound on Adobe Animate CC for about 6 to 8 hours (total, not in one go). I can't seem to figure out how to make the sound loop properly nor how to make it not start playing over itself when the images loop.

I am sorry, but i don't think I'll be able to make a flash given the complete nonexistence of my experience with making flashes.

I don't know much about flash, but you can make just a normal video and convert it to swf or flv using ffmpeg or avconv. It will probably have gross artifacts though. Also >>>/wsg/ has webm muting turned off, so you could put it up there.

It just ocured to me. The lenght in Adobe is different from the gift, which means each frame in adobe has a diferrent lengh thab the default 100ms i used in gimp to make the gif.

I think the gift is 6.8 seconds. The loop i have is like 3.6 or so seconds. I think i know how to make this work as long as i can change the lenght of each frame in adobe.

I'm not home atm. I'll look into it later.
