I really enjoy it but I'm super embarrassed to have anyone else see it. Not that I have any friends but I've received some unkind looks from repairmen over the years. I don't even have anything super lewd other than a couple of Native figures that are pretty much impossible to see unless you're right in front of the display case.

I should add that I'm not exactly embarrassed as much as a mixture of ashamed and extremely proud. Like I want to show it to someone else because I've amassed what I think is a cool collection over the last 20 years but the only IRL friends I had turned out to be even crazier than me so I've no one to show it to... and it's not better to show it to someone whose going to automatically assume I'm a fucking creep.

I've got a lot of display cases, though. I'm not rich but I'm kinda old and I've been a figure collector since the 90s so it's a lot of real estate to cover.

I just can't see going through the trouble of dust-covering my office and room for a fucking serviceman. Like, yeah, it's a bit embarrassing but at the same time fuck that shit. I shouldn't have to.

I have 4 fumos and a Mario hat. That's about it, because I haven't really wanted anything else

I'm currently in seated in front of a big wooden rolldesk with two crap laptops and a sub-1080p VGA monitor on it. Strangely enough, there's also a giant electric lathe sitting on the top portion of the desk.

To my left, there's a dented metal toolbox, and a broken analog oscilloscope. Behind me, there's a card table stacked with 12" LPs and on the floor, there's a Ford truck muffler. No anime anything anywhere.

My collectibles are just stored on a bookshelf that my family was going to throw away. There's no Ikea in my country, so I can't go with the standard glass case that's recommended. It's an alright solution I suppose. A friend of mine had his collection stolen, about $2000 worth, some of which were rare or limited apparently.
