Well eggs can be an important source of calcium and protein in a lot of birds and yolk is very nutrient-rich. Hens eating their own eggs is often a problem for chicken keepers, especially when their feed is lacking in nutrients. Crows are also known for eating the eggs of other birds. I don't see why the tengu would consider it odd at all to eat one's own eggs or to eat bird eggs. If Aya doesn't like eggs though that just means more omelets for me.

I don't know, but historically, tengu have been close allies to humans when it came to warfare and combat techniques, hell, some of them WERE humans themselves , so it's not farfetched to say they're interested in humans.

I don't know, I missed out on it. You need to press L1 to regain some stamina, but it doesn't work 95% of the time. The devs also have you rooted to the spot whenever you run out of stamina. You can't do anything at all, so the enemies get in some free hits. There's also no sense of progression due to the hit detection and how unbalanced everything is. I'm level 75 and have level 79/80 gear yet I don't feel like I've gotten stronger than I was at level 1 and even low level enemies still hit like trucks and are damage sponges. In the Soulsborne games, when I was 75 I was 1/2-shotting almost every enemy except for bosses and the enemies were doing fuck-all damage to me.

Didn't mean to semi-rant, but the game is just so fucking infuriating and nowhere near as fun to play as the Soulsborne games.

Has it ever been stated that youkai are specifically physically stronger than humans? Most of the dangerous youkai have some physical ability which makes them dangerous in addition to spiritual power, but at least in actual folklore they aren't considered physically strong as a class of creatures. Tengu for example have been known more for their great agility and skills at warfare than pure brawn. But it's rather absurd to imagine a zashiki warashi carrying boulders.
