This picture reminds me of a place here in Sweden that I know of. It's located in the forest and not many people bother to know about it in my town, situated at a height over a valley and at the edge of the forest. All the trees on that slope are cut down, so you get to see out to the southwest. The grass is yellow and withered, which offers the area a very autumn atmosphere year-round. During especially clear days, the sunset bathes the entire area and a lake in golden sunlight, it feels absolutely magical.

Is that a real touhou ? Real question, didn't even realized there had been a new game and absolutely no new pics emerged on the boorus so I guess it is either bad or the characters have attained a new low design and quality wise.

A sage of gensokyo who is a god, matarajin (who exists in mythology) needs faith and attention so she messes with the seasons using her ability to create a "door" on the back of anything which can draw out properties like vitality, seasons, power, magic, etc. She also made an excuse that she needed a new servant so she offered it to Marisa or Cirno, Cirno denied it and Marisa's offer still stands. Aside from the stage 5 bosses the opponents you run into have unknowingly had doors placed on their backs, and run into you. You also go into another dimension and get some sweet music.
tl;dr you fight Yukari's colleague who's so powerful she turns into an EX boss by standing up and uses one of her spellcards as a non-spell. It's an isolated incident, PCB-tier.

Her last non-spell is Border of Wave and Particle, arguably the best known Yukari spell-card. In universe it's arguably the best known too, considering Satori chose it for her final spell against ReimuA in SA. Granted the last stage 6 enemies in SA also used BoWaP so maybe ZUN just really likes that pattern.
