Are you talking about Hinano's review? The others aren't as bad as hers. I've completed the game a month ago and I don't think the game is as bad as she makes it out to be either. No guys are yanderes (even Yang, I'd consider him a psychopath) and the stuff she wrote can be misleading because she (may or may not intentionally) left out some information. Dante, for one, wasn't an asshole in the other routes. That can be applied to Orlok's route though but he wasn't being an asshole for no reason. If someone is expecting an Arcana Famiglia like type of otome from a game that got a Cero D rating that centers about mafia lords and their issues they aren't getting it here. I'm actually glad Otomate didn't sugarcoat how terrible they can be (like there's a torture scene in the game where they explain to you in detail how one of the love interests cuts someone else's ear) because they actually are terrible in real life. Sweet Pool was retranslated from the base up, now they are retranslating Lamento. Rumor suggests they purchased the Togainu No Chi translation since SpoilerTV is promoting it (the fantranslations editor Debono9 is now one of their senior staff).

Some have raised concerns that the translation quality is mixed at best.

1-5 is turn-based RPG, and 6 has a Terra Battle-style grid system. Some games let you adjust difficulty. But since it's otome the battles don't get that much more elaborate than Attack Weak Element to Win, and you mostly just use them to get closer to your guy. How close you are will make him stronger, more likely to shield you from hits, say embarrassing lines as you do joint skills together, etc. Some games let you choose to skip battles altogether. Still like it though all things considered, I can do the bare minimum required without it getting tedious.
