Yuri touhou in all of its forms. I'm tired of 50% of the sfw doujins I find being some boring yuri story with the girls as stand-ins for someone she isn't supposed to be.

I realize that touhou is written shallow instead of deep, as if ZUN intends for doujin creators to fill in the gaps where they appear. Never answering questions like how exactly does Alice relate to Lolice, why Marisa left the village, how Reimu came to be, ZUN, despite having decades to do so -- this is his way of saying "I don't know, this one is up to you". This way doujin artists are free to explore these details and have the potential to make something compelling and interesting out of these gaps.

Unfortunately whenever someone tries to fill in the blanks with yuri, it is neither compelling nor interesting.

This is one of those things that initially makes sense if you take the events of the manga out of context but makes less the more you think about it.
