My current team is Sphalerite back row (Peridot is fine.), then Sakura Ishi, Heliodor (Queen Conch Shell is fine) Black Diamond (Shinobu Ishi is OK) and Tempest Stone, with another Sakura Ishi or Tempest Stone as ally backup. Based on what Nutaku translated, FKG’s main story alone is far more memorable than whatever the fuck happened in part 1 of Kanpani. About the only things I remember of Kanpani are Monique’s background, the Knights, and the rival company.

On the other hand, FKG does, among other things, establish how the main group gets so renowned throughout Spring Garden, starting from Winter Rose, a bit of Lily Wood, the Kodaibana patrols, a visit to Eden, and both tying Tachibana’s event story and the whaleship plot to the Banana Ocean trips. Edelweiss (and Snowflake) get multiple subplots. And personal bias aside, Daisy gets properly established as a badass one-loli army (usually only the Blossom Hill rainbows and a few Lily Wood rainbows get to show that reputation).

To be fair, rainbows did move from "so talented that other flower knights are creeped out" to "random loli straight out of knight school". Worldflowers decide who gets what amount of power, and even the trees are lolicons in Spring Garden.

And yeah, Kanpani wins out in gameplay and ties in waifu-polishing (or whatever you want to call mixmaxing through character equipment/accessories/AWs), loses slightly in characters, loses clearly in story.

Yeah, comparing Daisy to the other members of the loli quartet alone shows a clear difference in power levels, though at least it was sorta established Viola’s chibi power is unique and serves as a basis for the chibi Nazunas.

But I like how every other scene with Daisy and pest battling (whether it’s her character quests or her event debut or the main story) involves her literally soloing hordes of pests, or how Aburana’s inferiority complex really starts to show after seeing Daisy’s skills in action.

They kinda gloss over the fact that she maps out an entire set of ruins filled with dangerous pests all by herself, so the fact that she reappears later in the story with Edelweiss and both Camellia and Edelweiss react more appropriately (pic related) put a smile on my face.

I think I should get to completing the main stories in both FKG and Kanpani. About the latter, I've heard that the story picks up the pace in Part 2, and a lot of character (and some event) stories require reading Part 2 to make sense, or at least to avoid spoilers. Looking at you, Anna.
Also, any sort of comparison between everyone's favorite girls is just an open invitation for a shitstorm. But I think that's common knowledge.

Speaking of FKG's story, so Tarragon is a high-ranking senate member who wears a hood and robes, hid close involvement with a wholly different organization (her knight training was kept a bit hushed, possibly because the senate is chafing against the knights for being popular enough that they could pull a coup if they wanted), is in touch with some kind of powerful mystical force (her reason to opt for training, not quite Cattleya level but she had potential), plans to make sweeping changes in the senate organization, and is currently involved in an important prophecy that could change the power dynamics of the setting (Eda's forbidden book apparently lets you lead the flower knights according to Protea).

So when's she going to tell us about the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?

There's an English version on Nutaku, but starting there is not recommended because Nutaku is a shambling corpse at this point. Their Kamihime has been doing okay, but it's going into freefall the moment the original team pulls out support to focus on their own EN version, which was launched recently at http://games.dmm.com/detail/kamipro_eng/

That one's an English client for the Chinese version, or so I was told. You can also play the Japanese version, which is not region locked either. As for the phone questions, Kamihime is a browser game, as are most other things discussed here, but a mobile client exists. I don't know if it messes with rooted phones, but I don't think so, coding is not the devs' strong suit.

Be aware that Kamihime is best described as porn Granblue. Hope you like grinding.

I've played previous version for like half a year, and it was definitely one of the better games. It did have some design problems though, like having to spam ~300 raid battles (that took up to 10 mins each) to full-clear an event, or the crafting system that was completely ignored since dropped / gacha equips were better in most aspects.

Picked up Kanpani a few days ago. Was progressing smoothly but now I'm noticing my employees are getting hit for hundreds of damage per attack while having not too much HP either. Just started Chapter 6 and I pretty much need to avoid red routes or else I die.
Do I just need to focus on crafting better armor/accessories for them now or is it a level issue? Is this the part of the game where I need to farm old areas for recipes so I can craft better equips for my characters?

Most if not all characters have at least one character story, doing those will get you character-exclusive weapons (and armor for episode 2) which is going to be better than a lot of the early story stuff. You get a base copy upon completion and a chance at the recipe for it. Some the weapons are quite strong at +3/4.

Characters stats start getting really bloated after a few careers up, so focus on grinding level for your favorite ones and do career up for them as soon as soon as possible.
Fuse dupes to get awaken bonuses for your 3* and 4* characters.
Do characters story quests to get recipes for their weapons.
Though you should focus on events instead of rushing through story missions, since most of the goodies are from event rewards.

By career up do you mean class up? I career upped my 3*s to 4*s and they are in the lv 40s range right now. I also have two 5*s that are in the 60s range. They should be able to get career upped soon but it's going to be a lot of EXP until then.

You have to cap your characters level first, 90 for 3* and 4*, 99 for 5*, then they will be available for career up. For quick leveling, you should do the daily stages for those candies then feed them to your characters.
As for the event, get the character and her awakening book first, then you can exchange for her +3 weapon. You can farm the voice stone and recipes later so they aren't important.

Aigis: Good gameplay, story is fun and doesn't really take itself seriously, you get a lot of SC (game currency) in short term, earlygame is entertaining because each new map is a challenge, there's enough content to keep you interested for a couple years but it becomes somewhat droll after you run out of revival SCs/tough maps.
FKG: Character-driven approach with large story arcs that resolve over months or years with lots of hints and easter eggs + smaller stories for each of ~400 characters, flower stones (game currency) are given hand over fist to make up for subpar gacha rates, but gameplay is limited to clicking "advance" for half an hour per day.

Effective enough but the pools are extremely bloated so that happens quite a bit. You can try to finagle it with your recruitment facility by setting a specific job for one of the rate ups and that will tilt the odds in your favor a little better, but it's still a crapshoot.

It's a good roll, but these units all need a lot of investment to pull their weight. Your first black, Matsuri is a solid earlygame deploy with a kitchen sink kit (she's got pseudo-ramp, ranged DPS and a passive that buffs melee) that's getting increasingly powercreeped with time, while Kurama is another unit that tries to do everything at once, but is most notable for her ability to hide units around her (ranged attacks are not a concern early on, but quickly become the most threatening aspect of endgame maps). Nakia belongs to a lousy class but has a dodge skill that can be useful in a pinch, while Racua must be maxed out to even think about performing her niche (her base form doesn't have her trademark immortality, you need to max her level, AW/AW2s her, and level her more to get any use), but she's fun and flexible once you do.

You'll get two black pick tickets as you level up, get some of the more broken picks (probably Rinne and some DPS like Moltena, Nanaly or Rion) and you're good to go. And congrats, in any case.

I have a handful of level 100's and a handful of level 100 weapons. This event I even have that janitor girl that gets a damage bonus with full attack upgrades.
however I don't seem to do much damage comparatively.
I tried to solo very hard and it didn't look like it was happening due to damage to time ratio so I called for aid and one guy came that quickly got 300k+ on the thing at the bottom. I forget what I had but it was sub 100k.

The problem with this boss is that it puts up a defense barrier first thing. The janitor girl and the girl given from the event both break that barrier but they need 8 and 9 skill turns. You probably won't have enough cost to get enough skill boosts for them to shit out damage at the start. In this case you start your own battles, do enough turns to do your damage, then send out the help call. I think the half-mechanical dude from gacha also does a def debuff, but not a def break like the other two. I don't use him.
And even with that stuff, I'm falling behind on 5* weapon drops and either falling further in battle rank or having an attack not even count because of how fast everyone else is killing it.

But if you're grinding a bunch, you should take the opportunity to make seven to ten 30/30 quality 4* event weapons. In particular the rocket launcher. You're given so much junk materials that you end up selling all of it to fund such quality upgrades.

The amount of pluses is how many turns they give. If they have it, 5-stars give 2, 4-stars give 1. Exceptions are the recent whale special scout girl who gives 3 if you got two dupes of her, and the girl in Metro who gives 4 if you somehow managed to get her and all of her holographic memory cubes.

tried switching out the rockstar for more skill boost but it was slower since she has a damage boost and a attack up skill.
