A big issue is that translation from asian to european languages (whatever the linguistic terms are) is extremely difficult. Its much easier within their own families, but crossing the streams gets extremely muddled because there's rarely similar translations to the things they're saying.
Currently AI struggles to handle basic translations (e.g. we need something substantially better than tensorflow), I'd expect at least another decade before its ready for the bulk translation thats required for asian -> europe and vice versa translations, just due to context requirements and cultural variations.
