As much as I like Waking Up in Gensokyo, turning it into a VN project will just lead to failure. It was fun just as a way to kill time while browsing /jp/ and it should've stayed that way.

That is totally up to Gensokyo Man. However, I would like to point out that he was posting for nearly 7 hours today and I forget how many yesterday. Anyone would get tired of this, project or not. Also, there is no way things will restart from the very beginning again, the story will keep twisting until you either encounter everyone or he gets too tired of it.

They will likely end regardless of what we do. Just think of yourself as a beta tester.

Yea I don't think Gensokyo Man has any intention to take it off /jp/. He should be back for most of the day tomorrow in Eastern time to continue the story as he had stated earlier. I don't think starting a VN project will have any effect on the great materials we saw earlier today.
