A third of us are allowed to go to the office any given day, though no one is required and often it's less than a third coming in. About six weeks ago, at another company four floors above us someone was diagnosed, and immediately everyone who was in the office the prior week was notified and asked to stay home as a precaution. Over here there isn't really a policy around who you communicate with if you have covid. The company is large enough that it tends to make its way up the ladder and then reach either HR or a branch that handles the workplace itself. It goes up faster than it spreads wide so it ends up not mattering who you tell.
