The way they handled their first few events was atrocious and there are still too many game breaking bugs weeks after release. Money to premium conversion rate is absolutely horrible with "value" packs not being very valuable at all so global might shut down purely because of that.

Some generals like the girls frontline general wait until page 8. Other threads with dedicated thread makers only move when said thread maker does it or they hit page 10 and panic.
The only reason a general ever gets an early thread is because the person wanted to choose the OP picture or control what gets put in the OP so if this happens frequently then one of the regulars really wants to control what gets put on the OP. Else, the general will typically fall to page 9/10 and someone will only make a new thread after several complaints of BROS THE THREAD!!. Sometimes threads even 404 because nobody could be assed to make a new thread.

The thread maker here probably really wants to control what goes in the OP and choose the pictures himself over letting others make it if he's going so far to make early threads on this board so have fun with control freak I guess, people like these are really hard to get rid of.

I feel pretty shaky about the global side of SaGa lasting more than a year. Seems to have a lot of the same things going on that SOA's global version had:

I still wouldn't say this is a PVP game despite them adding crystal rewards to arena. The gap between rewards for the top rankers and mid rankers is not that wide and you don't need to win your battles to claim some other rewards.
I can see them buffing certain characters at most but nerfing characters especially with how annoying it is to raise a character up would just massively piss off most of their player base along with setting a precedent that you should never invest in anything that looks strong and useful because it might get nerfed.

Even after unlocking world 10 the rate for gold equipment drops is extremely low. My only source of these so far are the RNG encounters which is limited to 3 max a day I believe and even those don't have a 100% chance drop rate.

I'm on world 7 I think, the volcano planet. Shit is like 100k more power then me and I get destroyed. I basically farm to the 2 encounters or so anyway since my gold has been on a severe deficit so unlocking a bunch of equipment really isn't feasible anymore.

Equipment stages feel more like a character check than power check. Do you have Quinn or another character that can target the backline? Some of those enemies need to be taken out ASAP or else you just insta-lose.
If a world btw is too hard to farm then there's no shame in going back to a previous world to farm. The random encounters you get are NOT linked to what world you are currently farming in, but what your highest level world is. For instance I can farm 1-1 and my RNG encounters will still give me purples and low chance of gold. If world 7 is a huge struggle it may be better to just stick to 6 and then hoping for good drops from the encounters.

RomaSaga's charm is more of simplicity then anything. Most people in JP don't really play the game for gameplay and usually play for community and show-and-tell.

That's generally the problem, though. RomaSaga doesn't have a community in Global. Heck, it didn't have a good community in Japan until 0.5 year and 1 year anniversary when they started picking up. Especially when we don't have that much of a love for the 16-bit era as Japan does, RomaSaga Re;Universe isn't really in the best of spots. Granted, SENA isn't really doing much in their part because "lol gacha localization, best cut costs".

Other games throw in like millions of stuff you gotta memorize (Which ends up with really stupid acronyms or other shit like Final Fantasy gacha's). This game just keeps it simple: You have 10BP starting out, you get 3BP per turn, you gain stats through grinding. Go do whatever. There isn't a super mega legend zenkai awakening system with like 5 layers of RNG gear.

If you want a more indepth gacha RPG, then there's games like Exos Heroes, Epic Seven, Granblue Fantasy, Girls Frontline and so forth. This game's meant for the people who generally don't want too many demands from their gacha. Seems like being told that you can play however you want instead of being forced down grinding to get to peak condition in raids or pvp triggers a lot of people, though.

(also, there comes a jukebox option but I don't really recall a gacha where you can switch battle music. Even then, those who let you usually force you to play a character for their theme, which isn't able to be switched)

Personally, I'm wondering why Past Garlea is miles easier than Present garlea. Present has a lot of diff resistance enemies, fast shits and you want to bring various damage types so you can efficiently clear waves. Bosses are pretty easy but kinda annoying too with Mizuchi needing you to kill the head before you can murder it in AF and how Karakuri hurts at this point in the game if you can't 2AF him immedately because someone's going to die if you didn't put a power debuff on it.

Meanwhile for past Garlea you only need Amy and Cerrine. Add mana to never run out of mana and you can clear everything easily with Cerrine's AOE except for the only the two enemies that resist it. 2/3 bosses are a joke too that absolutely melt with a 2AF with the third one being easily skippable.

This was so bullshit that I didn't even know how to react.

I tried HeroballZ, it's got cuties and you literally can't play without auto and it's only auto 2-3 hours a day. What's wrong with EN?

Unlike seemingly literally everyone else I actually like how Blue Archive looks. The pudgy 3D chibis look cute and the game has a nice vibrant palette and sound design. The 3D in general looks very good and well animated once you set it to 60FPS and high resolution. The 2D art doesn't look very good though because it's very blurry for some reason and even beyond that it's pretty inconsistent in quality. A matter of getting cheaper artists to do the worse units I guess.

The gameplay is very basic and seems very uninteresting. Even less so than Azur Lane. The least they could've done is make the targeting automatic but let the player position the units like in an RTS. Hate to see your units stand in the open when there's empty cover nearby. As it stands it's a bit more interesting to look at than GF but a bit less interesting to play which doesn't bode well.

I'm sure there will be an english version like all other Yostar published games so I'll probably just let it stew until that and see how it has developed. Don't really see myself picking this up.

What's you guys' problem with chibis? I agree that blue archive chibi looks kinda ugly but there are good looking ones I like out there.

She's a tank + "healer" in the sense that she generates a hefty shield for your frontline every two turns starting from the first. Might honestly suck from my point of view because story doesn't give you a proper healer (Morgana is free and a great newbie healer but he's a Persona 5 Collab) so you'll wish for death with the story healer. If you can shove in a healer like Morgana or a 5* gacha healer then you'll have a much better time. And if you can stomach to shove in P5 joker too then even better for your QOL and sanity purposes but I went through Pt1 with Aldo as my AOE and hated it so I guess it's possible?

In sidestories you're encouraged to do full story teams though. Every story relevant character gives you bonus points so not doing teams of like full story teams or 1 carry + story is awful and extremely sub optimal because you'll take far more runs and waste a lot more keys.

And for free characters you're only going to get the main story crew for free, everyone else has to be rolled from the gacha. Every sidestory has one freebie character too.
