Do not die die the Remi.

>> No.27082838

Ah, yes Flanfly: The noble struggle of the self-willed and there struggle against society. These stoic that has achieved the utter control, everything done conciously and with reason behind it. It is not the fight of the petty rebel or impassioned anarch, who seeks simply an idol to topple or a king to slay. The struggle is that to maintain a personal vision, a self-contained philosophy that is not limited to the petty views of those who claim dominion over culture and convention. A philospher king without a kingdom, a wandering prince that has already claimed everything in the path.
As we see Flandre Scarlet (the sister of the noblewoman Remilia Scarlet) run through the mansion, we see witness to her escapades: The devouring of the imp Koakuma's cake, the destruction of Patchouli Knowledge's formula, the injury to the chief maid, and the splashing of tea in Remilia's face. These are the enemies that a self-moving and stoic individual must face: The Petty Hedonist, the Constrained Intellectual, the Rigid Ruler, and the Decadent Elite. Flan does not mean ill will, and has done little that is permanent, yet these foes would seek her undoing as it is their way to trample upon those who break free of norms. They each latch upon but a mere facet (represented by Flandre dividing into four) to seek and destroy, as it is the rule of ignorant individuals to destroy those which they cannot understand.

Having such a temporary pleasure deprived by the self-moving one, who only sought such an experience to better herself, Koakuma pursues Flandre. Flandre hides in the chandelier, knowing such transient and boorish individuals would never seek to look upwards from their mire of indulgence. Then we see Patchouli, so angered and fixated upon the loss of some useless intellectual "achievement" that lacks any actual merit, she cannot see the natural (represented by the potted plant) state of the world and overlooks Flandre. The maid Sakuya, having her elegance so rudely toppled, seeks vengeance upon a foe she can understand. But she cannot understand the plight of those who work under her, so she never does think to look in the quarters of those so oppressed by her. And finally, Remilia, the slave-queen to all convention and romance, has built a maze of luxury with her; a perfect hiding spot for Flandre, who but recline between gilded frames.
Confounded once more, we see these foes focused upon the singular: They must destroy the one who threatens their structure, their cathedral of sin. Flandre leads them on through a trail, a trail leading to such heights where one's intellect, one's very fibers of being are questioned. The hedonist, lacking such will or character, cannot continue. Passing through the wide corridors, the intellectual falters and topples; a victim to the absurdity and incalculable nature of life. The haughty thief and the indifferent constable but stops and laugh at such a proclaimed "intellect" has not the knowledge to understand the harsh realities. We are left but two, the maid and the noble. Flandre simply soars through the hall, even performing a small spin to show how at ease one who understands the logic of life is. The noble races by, sped on through the power of her own wealth. The maid, as determined as she is, is stopped by an even harsher reality: Her lack of grace and refinement. And then there is one. Remilia, so used to her pleasure and seclusion, is judged by the relentless might of the Sun. Flandre has concealed herself with a parasol, the only trapping of wealth that was necessary. So little, but so much to conceal oneself from the merciless eyes of Judgement.
And we are left to the self-driven, hiding behind the common man; triumphant with no violence, no anger, no feeling. Only by letting go of one's passions, breaking one's chains that restrain one's will, can you achieve such a flight that would cause such anger in those who seek dominion over you.

For a moment this thread was right next to the "Japanese bird cooking spaghetti" thread and I was mentally teleported back to 2009.

Thanks you.
