It can’t really be helped. There’s no way you’d be able to properly prevent Kenji’s attack; all you can do is believe that she’ll be able to avoid it.

There is no surprise coming from Emi. There wasn’t even a split second of hesitation: the moment she heard you yell, her body already started moving. The movement was at such a speed that you didn’t see her brace herself.

It’s just that one moment she was standing there, and the next she was flying away to the side.

Alright! With that speed, despite how fast Kenji is, you’ll be able to make it over in time to help. Emi is flying fast and true away from Kenji’s attack! With this, you dash over to incept Kenji’s path to Emi. No matter how fast he is, there’s no--

Right as you start moving, you see Kenji move, and hear a sickening crunch. The actual event probably happened fractions of a second earlier, but you are just now noticing the sound from it. Emi wasn’t flying to the side rapidly because of her jumping speed; the truth is, Kenji shifted the direction of his attack, and it ended up managing to connected with her and blow her away. It almost feels like time has frozen to a standstill as you watch her limp body fly through the air.

“EMIIIIIIIII!”

Suddenly, you feel as though you’re able to move again. Your intention is to rush over to the little girl’s side, but you’re stopped by two things: her lifeless body lying unresponsively on the floor, and Kenji’s glare, blocking your path. He brings his hand up to his chest to massage it with his other hand, and you only now notice the blood streaming from it.

Bastard, is that--! No, it can’t be Emi’s blood. You didn’t see an open wound on her; it must all be internal trauma. The explanation is apparent when you look at the wall: it is as though a small window has opened into the hallway, and his shattered hand serves as a representation of that achievement.

“Is that enough, Hisao? Can you take me seriously, now?”

You don’t even pay attention. That’s not what’s important right now. Your senses are all directed to the tiny, fragile-looking girl currently lying motionless on the floor. Blood trails from her lip in a slow, tiny stream. There’s nothing else for you to do right now: you walk over to her body, and put your ear close to her mouth and nose.

You lay your head gently on her chest.

You’re in front of Kenji. It’s not that you ran there, or that you suddenly jumped there. You just wanted to cross that distance, and the distance became irrelevant. Wherever Kenji is, you can follow.

Kenji has no time to do anything other than widen his eyes in shock before you lay a brutal assault on his body. There is no form to what you do, no technique: there is only the physical channeling of the pure murderous intent that you feel from deep within your being. The fact is, you WANT to kill Kenji. You want him dead…dead…DEAD! For everything that he’s done, for everything that he’s responsible for, you will see him DIE in a most PAINFUL way!

And now your body is moving itself to those urges: your fists make noticeable dents in Kenji’s sides before your knuckles shatter; your legs dislocate his jaw and completely shatter the side of his skull before your shins, ankles, and feet break.


With your fists shattered, you brutally crush your elbows on Kenji’s nose and solar-plexus; and when your elbows die, your crush your forehead to his.

There is no finesse involved: if your body is going to break by the sheer force of your attacks, then you will have to make sure that Kenji breaks well before you do.

Kenji flies back across the room, his brutalized body crashing up against the wall right next to the painting. Your legs won’t take you to Kenji.

Still, you do not relent. You’ve lost count how many times you’ve thrown the full weight of your head against Kenji, but he’s still not dead yet.

He still clings to life.

But it’s close. You tilt back your head to strike again--

--and are blown away by a reflexive punch! Even though he’s on the verge of death, Kenji’s will won’t allow him to die so easily. Your ribs creak in protest as your body is blown away; it didn’t have much of his earlier strength, but with this distance created, you can no longer attack him.

Exactly what he wants.

You focus your mind on your useless body: you gave up wanting to heal yourself if it meant killing Kenji, and the girls’ must’ve felt a great desire to bring harm to him, as your wounds still haven’t healed.

But you can’t defeat him like this. You have to heal in order to fight. And you need to fight; you WANT TO FIGHT!

Why don't you just hate him dead? Sounds simpler.

The two of you face each other, breathing hoarsely, your bodies a shattered image of proper human beings. There is no way to tell where your blood ends and your clothes begin; gore, blood, and bone are littered across your body.

Your lungs burn with protest at the exertion. And yet…still you stand.

Two broken humans, still showing an intent to kill each other. If you didn’t feel as though you lost the ability, you’d be laughing your ass off right now.

And with those words, the two of you once again stand right in front of one another. What follows is a renewal of a fight completely beyond the scope of humanity. Blood flies left and right throughout the classroom as bones break and knit, tendons tear and repair, and flesh is cut and healed.

The only way to describe it would be to say that the two of you form a single hurricane, where if anything comes remotely close it is pulverized to a fine dust. Attacks are made, and nullified. Defense is erected and obliterated.

…Why? He’s that one that hit YOU, after all. The fact that you’ve collapsed to the ground without even being aware of it is proof enough.

Oh. He must’ve fallen too. You mentally check over your body, and realize that you’re having trouble breathing: his last strike before the painting was destroyed must have shattered your ribs, and sent the fragments flying into your lungs.

And with that, you lose consciousness. Nakai Hisao dies on a cold floor in an art room, fist connected to that of Setou Kenji; while what can only be called a harem mourns his passing.

There is not much else to be said other than: he fulfilled his objective.

There was no possible explanation for the events that occurred on that day. The authorities couldn't find any way to pin any of it on the girls present, so they got off free: but there was no way to properly explain just why Hisao and Kenji were both dead, and why there was a shattered painting in the room.

The girls, one by one, overcame the looming spectre of the event, and went back to their normal life. Gradually, things went back to normal at Yamaku High, though one thing did change:

A sculpture of one of the students who died was erected in front of the main building of Yamaku High.

A plaque reads: "We remember." And nothing else.

No one knows who actually sculpted it; but a great deal of petitioning was made, and it was accepted as official school property. To this day, a group of girls uses that place as a resting zone. Whenever they feel troubled by their current life, they simply lounge by its feet.

And so, the sunny days continue, forever...

A smiling face crosses your mind; a bright, cheery laugh, and an energetic running gait flow through your mind. And at the end of it all: the lifeless corpse of the girl you love. Tears once again flowing from your eyes, you put all the power you can into one final punch, and--

--completely smash Kenji’s body.

“GHHHRK!” He doesn’t cough so much as have air and blood expelled from his body through his mouth. His ribs are pulverized, and his body is embedded into the wall.

It is at this moment that you actually notice that the painting is right beside him. Leaving Kenji gasping for air and desperately attempting to keep his consciousness, you turn slightly, raise you fist for what you hope is the last time, and completely devastate that which has ruined so much for you.

There was no emotion involved. You simply removed that which had no right to exist. Pain courses through your body as you suddenly become aware of minor wounds that had no yet healed-- but it’s no matter. This is nothing compared to what other people had to endure. For instance, the girls behind you: unable to do anything but wish for you to win and be well, they had to watch the gruesome spectacle that completely changed the look of the classroom.

You hear gasping: Kenji must still be alive.

“It’s over, Kenji.”
“…*cough*…So it is.”

And…to your surprise: he smiles.

“Aha…*cough*…ahahaha…*cough cough*….AHAHAHAHA!” He…he’s laughing!
“You…you’re insane.”

And then you see: Kenji didn’t heal at all before your destroyed the painting. He’s only now making his way out of the wall, and his chest still appears to be crushed. It’s a miracle that he’s still alive, much less talking. He may have ruined a lot of things for you, but even now, you can’t help but feel a bit of remorse.

“It’s not too late! I’ll just--”
“NO!” He shouts to cut you off; coughing up more blood.

“No. It’s futile.”

And with that Kenji staggers over to a window, where you see the sun shining brightly through it right as it is setting.

And with that, Kenji draws his broken body up straight, looking more noble than you have ever seen him before. As he raises his right fist slowly, you see that your attack must’ve shattered even his shoulder.

And yet, he continues raising it. Defying the protests of his body: the impossibility of the task, he continues moving his body to suit his desire.

That’s right. He’s a willful bastard, prone to doing exactly what he wants.

And so, Setou Kenji dies with his head held high, chest puffed out, and right fist aimed towards the heavens, as if to shout to the world: “I have no regrets!”

It’s…it’s over.

What a pyrrhic victory. You eliminated the source of all that was going wrong, but at what cost? You look over to where Emi’s corp--

--huh? It moved?

Looking around the room, you see all six of the girls looking in your direction worriedly. Lilly, who can’t even see you, but still can feel your presence; Hanako, tears streaming unabashedly down her cheeks as she barely contains her desire to run to you; Shizune, looking at you as if to say “if you collapse now, I’ll think less of you.”

Yes, and even Emi, tears in her eyes, as if to say…”thank you.”

“E-EMI!?”
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost, Hisao.” Rin’s familiar drawl snaps you back to the present.
“Ouch…ouchouchouch~ I hurt all over. But for some reason, I don’t really feel bad at all!” Emi grins at you.

And you can’t help it. You run over, and embrace the girl you thought was dead.

“Ow…OW! Hey, Hisao, take it easy! I’m in a little pain here! Hisaoooooo!”

You draw back slightly, only to see the blushing girl looking happily at your face.

“Geez, idiot, at least give me t-time to prepare!” Emi’s blushing face looks slightly to the side; apparently, she doesn’t handle surprises very well.

There’s nothing else you can do but laugh: laugh in complete happiness over the completely unexpected outcome. Kenji’s death was sad in its way, but the sudden knowledge of Emi’s survival makes it impossible for you to feel depressed.

“B-But I thought you…”
“…So did I. But apparently it only knocked me unconscious! For some reason, it seems as though I healed completely.”

Well, you can’t complain about that. It is likely the first good thing to come of the painting.

“Thank you. Without everyone here, there’s no way I could’ve done this.”
“Of course not, Hicchan~ That’s why we came, after all!” Shizune adjusts her glasses proudly as Misha says this.
“You…you believed that I could take care of myself, Hisao…” Emi looks at you once again, blushing.
“Yeah, and I almost regret it. I don’t think I could handle it if you ever get into a situation like that again…not with this heart.”

And, as though to reaffirm the fact that the painting is truly gone, you feel a familiar tightening in your chest. But it doesn’t bother you now: with the help of these girls, you can overcome such a simple obstacle.

“Let’s go. We have a lot to take care of.”

And, putting your arms around the girls closest to you, you walk out of the art room into an uncertain reality.

There was a great deal of questioning involved, but in the end, no charges were pressed against you or any of the girls. Of course, you were punished for the ruined room, but you got through that just fine with the support of each other. It’s been several months since then, and you finally feel as though you’re going back to a normal life.

You hear the bell ring for lunch time, and are suddenly accosted by Misha.

“Going somewhere, Hicchan~?” She asks, while Shizune stares intently at you.
“…Yeah. I was going to eat lunch outside. Care to join me?”

Misha looks to Shizune for confirmation, who nods, and the three of you are off to the courtyard.

This is probably your favorite place to have lunch, now. The bright green grass, the calming atmosphere: it makes it feel as though you’re truly at peace with the world; a feeling that you really do need, now that you’re so close to graduation.

Emi, Rin, Lilly, and Hanako also seem to share the same idea as you, and seat themselves with you.

As Rin plops herself into your lap without any sort of shame, the other girls raise vehement protest, and a full-fledged debate is soon in progress. Despite your proclamation of love for all of them, they still can’t truly accept it, and debate furiously with each other. However, oddly enough, it almost seems as though they’re closer than ever before because of it. Shizune and Lilly can even stand to be in each other’s presence now.

You sigh, and look up at a gigantic statue of a man standing proudly with his fist in the sky. It took a lot of money to buy the requisite materials, but you don’t regret it one bit. This was a project between the seven of you; one that you would’ve undertaken alone had they not forced their aid on you.

The stone carver, in addition to the stone, was very expensive; but it was money well spent.

Smiling, you look up at the bright sky, as unbounded as the future in front of you. You’re not sure where you’ll end up with everyone, but one thing is for certain:

The bonds forged as a result of this trial are bonds that will never be broken. You will live your life with great vigor, loving and being loved by the women close to you, and always staying true to that which you truly want.

You are Nakai Hisao, and you have no regrets.

A shadowy figure smirks in amusement. It wasn't all that fun, but it was more entertaining than could be anticipated, given the pieces involved.

Perhaps there is more to this area than previously determined. If such a small power as that insipid relic can provide that much amusement, than what greater things lie in store?

But...no need to progress so quickly. Part of the fun is knowing when to take it easy.

It just got up, when someone posted the picture on the header.

This is not actually the first time. Someone tried doing it before (and is contributing again), but stopped for reasons unknown. He still has the old code.

The story is basically you're an Alpha Level Psyker stuck in High School on a Paradise Planet in a Warp Storm. You do not know this. The whole time your perception is warped by Chaos. There are also 4 female Daemons of Chaos (of their respective gods), which are attempting to seduce your Psyker ass so that you may join Chaos for their god, (or in Khorne's case, fucking kill you).

They are going to do a system with battle, with a rules system from either 40k 5th Edition, or Dark Heresy.

Some of the endings are particularly grimdark (or, in the Orks case, hilarious).
