Another other idea was to have one login server, two map/char servers. One mapserver for lowrate grind parties, the other server with DBZ rates. WoE would be a single castle and at different times for both servers.

Last /jp/RO died off very quickly, or at least the community did. I don't have any interest in the server until it has a solid community base for at least 4 months and I get to kill some tripfags.

Also, circlejerking faggots always appear. It wasn't any different when it was travian, or mabinogi or luna online and it will probably happen with this one too. You might want to put it on ratemyserver listings to draw some random outsiders in to keep the community in shape.

The only real problem I saw with the game mechanics of RO is the absolute necessity for cards and the utter unavailability of them made it so botting is forced on the community. 4 drops cards? Really? You dumb fucks want me to waste my time on drops for how long? Creamies for weeks, then vitatas for weeks, then smokies for weeks, then phens for weeks?

If there's one thing I can request it's something less restrictive in the card drops. 1 in 200 or 1 in 300 so each of us doesn't spend a million hours trying to make our characters usable.

Renewal averts that, kind of. As in, since +% cards only affect the weapon's attack, they're useless on, say, a Composite Bow. And since all Staffs now each have their own MAtk value, stuffing 4 Drops on a Rod isn't getting you too far... possibly because there's no more instant cast there too.
However, everything else stays the same, or even get lower drop rates if you're on a much lower level than what you're fighting, but you shouldn't be doing this anyway.

I remember a /v/ WoW private server. It was fun because the admin had a short fuse and deleted all my characters for calling him on some bullshit.

I'm already on iRO Valkyrie. Started a 765 Production guild and only 1 person messaged me from /jp/ before quitting. I think it's the bots that scared him off which I can't blame him for. More bots on Valkyrie than I've ever seen ever and I played RO from almost the beginning.

Valkyrie is true hard mode RO. No creamy cards, no vitata cards, no kafra warps except in Prontera but you get used to it. I just dual client an account with an aco to teleport me where I need to go and do just fine.

Dunno if anyone's interested but I like iRO, quests work, mercenaries work, the game is enjoyable even at 1x rates.

I would enjoy /jp/RO, I played the last one awhile but if anyone wants to join me in Valk send me mail in the game and I'll see if I have time to dual play Valk and /jp/RO

why don't we just plan to make a guild and hijack one of the many ro private servers, we dont have enough players here.
