I see no disadvantages in being a youkai or a monster.

Traditional vampires are pretty much modern zombies, that is, rotting, bloated corpses. Rotting moe? I'll pass I suppose. Strong AI is cool, but there are better choices.

Probably youkai, if that encapsulates non-Japanese critters as well (given youkai isn't any particular group of monsters but just anything out of the ordinary. ) I could be a penanggalan. Intestine moe~

Lovecraftian horrors have some mean immortality going on, but being incomprehensible to humans could have drawbacks. Servants and dolls are temporary.

Vampire was a close second, but sun damage is a bit of a downer. I like looking at sunsets while taking long walks on sandy beaches.
Anyway, there needs to be more descriptions. What're the disadvantages to being a youkai? Super strength, super hearing, super vision, super speed and agility... Maybe not immortal, but have a longass lifespan if they aren't.
