I've been visiting Aegis's forums, from what I can tell, they WERE on track with the translation.
Then some idiot went and Find+Replaced the fcuk out of the elipses they were using for spacing purposes and the primary editor went batshit insane.

Last I heard they were having to fix each and every one individually.

1. They were using elipses not only as eplises, but also as a placeholder for spacing purposes.
2. The character they replaced with is used in other places besides where the elipses were.

But from the looks of it on http://amaterasu.oxyhost.com/forum/index.php?topic=22.0 the translation is largely finished, and now we've just got editing to do, which is continuing at pace.

They only started the project a couple of months ago and they've translated about 50% of the entire game.

Partial patches (that actually give you a character's route) are much preferred to not having a clue what's going on with the project then it eventually dies away because no one seems interested.

Also Cross+Channel Week 3 patch was released today.
