I work for a Japanese company with a large American subsidiary, and often we work with them when they travel to the US. Many of them like us, but a lot of them I can easily tell don't.

Over the past few years management has pushed to take over more of their responsibilities so they don't have to travel here, keep the work local and travel costs down. I often wonder how that has affected their job security and I know many of them probably hate us for it.

Gets me to wondering how a lot of the JP holos really feel about the westward expansion. It was probably inevitable because there's a market here for it, but it still bothers me.
