The two big problems are setting up a server so we can run all the fun mods/maps, which I have no idea how to do, and then finding enough people to play. I'm not sure how many people care about using their steam accounts for something like this or if it would turn people off, since GTA doesn't require anything like that.

There's a lot of playermodels and ragdolls related to touhou, I've seen some sweps too.

I wish there were Touhou real time strategy games similar to Victoria II or EU4. Imagine an entire real time war strategy game where you play as one of the many characters of Touhou as the ruler of their respective nationstate. You get to manage economy, diplomacy, administrative issues, religion, stability, expansion and warfare as you fight other characters to control the entirity of Gensokyo. I think this would be a good idea.

Yes and yes, you can make an army of fairies. There are fairy units, SDM factions has an army of maid fairies and there even are Cirno and other named fairies as recruitable companions.

I once played a pretty low quality mod for EU3 that was kind of like those Risk games people play on shitty boards, where individuals picked a few provinces and put their custom nation in, and then the end result is a huge mess of a map that's entirely made of custom countries, some taken from other series and some just random OC. The mod wasn't very good or playable but it made me think a mod that just adds a bunch of nations placed arbitrarily over the world map, and each led by different 2hus might be cute.

It's still work in progress, tho it's finished enough to enjoy playing it. Not every village interior is done, but all units and weapons are. There's sandbox mode, almost finished campaign mode and every two weeks multiplayer is hosted.

I was thinking that the scenario for the game could take place on an entirely interactive map of Gensokyo, with all the custom countries and rulers corresponding to those in the 2hu universe. Reimu would be the ruler of the Hakurei Shrine, for example, Sanae of the Moriya Shrine, Byakuren of the Myouren Temple and so on and so forth. I don't believe that there is any official canon map of Gensokyo, or at least ZUN hasn't made one from what I can tell. I guess if someone wants to make a map of Gensokyo they'd have to get a bit creative to try and nail down the locations of every character and nationstate in the game. I wonder if there is a mod like this in some sort of rts like EU3 or similar. It's definitely a good idea. It could work.
