I'm not going to pretend that 5ch is an accurate sample of all JP viewers but she's pretty universally disliked on there. Most of them didn't watch her until the Pekora collab and they seem to believe that she intentionally stole Pekora's laugh and that she was too obvious in trying to leech off the JP holos. Even the JPs who don't outright dislike her don't really understand what her appeal is.

As for moving back to Austria she said before that she hopes she can help cover some of the empty EU timeslots since an advantage of HoloEN was supposedly that since they were spread out globally, they could theoretically cover all timezones but in practice it's just been Trinity for burgers, and Takamori for JP with EU viewers generally getting the worst stream times. Dunno if she'll actually do it since changing up her stream times so often fucked her already.

As for Holotalk, of course she can still do it since all of them have been online collabs to begin with. She's not going to change the time which is dumb because 95% of the audience is EOP, but she can't exactly ask the guest to accommodate her timezone so whatever.

Western viewers in general are way more fickle than Japanese viewers. A ton of Gura or any of the EN's subs are people who jumped on the V-tuber bandwagon back in September/October of last year and already got bored. That's why ENs get consistently less CCV proportional to their total subscribers and why Pekora can regularly beat Gura in viewers despite having almost a million less subs. This is to say that JP viewers are generally more invested, and more likely to spend their time on 5ch or anywhere else online where V-tubers are discussed (mainly 5ch).

Japan doesn't have the same KFP defence force that will support and defend Kiara online like in /jp/, and they don't have a giant fucking hugbox site like reddit where you straight up cannot say anything negative about any Holo. This is to say that unless a JP viewer decides to just watch Kiara streams out of their own interest, almost all the shit they're likely to see about her is going to be negative.
