Just like how twitch nowadays is only collaborations between streamers, the v tubers have that between their companies and others. They get music, plenty of fanart sometimes coming from them. But without many of the current political bullshit that people talk abut in current day top twitch streams feel like they are forced to address every time they try to speak with chat.
There is a facade on the screen but is as entertaining as saying Jerma and they also come with original ideas and small activities without needing to spend a lot on it like big youtubers like mr bast and alike. That also give it an air of homemade videos which is kinda nostalgic.

I don't think I could watch a vtuber who's like an animal or some kind of abomination, and if I were to watch a dude I don't need him to be some idealized anime guy, so an anime girl is the best. In that regard, Hololive has some more fun with it, which makes things more interesting in my opinion as my interests in fiction tend to lean towards more cartoony aesthetics than realistic ones. Also, them being ostensibly idols is good, because I'm kind of a puritan compared to how degenerate people are these days so if I'm going to watch a girl do anything, she can at least have the decency to pretend to not be a whore.

I watch Hololive because it's fun and I have great time supporting them. Most of the content is free and it's beutiful.
